How did he play both sides? He played the Death Row side and rode for them because that's who he was loyal to. Dr. Dre and Suge signed him, he did what he was supposed to do. He's just telling his true feelings, it was a conflicted place for him because he didn't have the personal experiences with Eazy like Suge or Dre did. Everyone's had friends that have beefed with people that we ourselves don't share the same animosity for. Some choose to beef with them as well, and some choose to just stay neutral. Snoop had to back up Dr. Dre because that was the man who put him on. It had nothing to do with playing both sides, because Snoop Dogg was never on Ruthless records. Snoop came into death row at the beginning of the beef with ruthless records. Snoop even wrote Dr. Dre's raps to diss Easy-E. It was just part of the introduction of Death Row coming into existence. Death Row was Snoop's biggest opportunity. He had to make his Mark in history the best way he could have, and indeed it took him this far. And now he can look back and reflect to us on how he really felt. This is how life works.

A lot of people giving Snoop shit in the comments but it went both ways. BG Knockout said the exact same thing when he did real Compton City G's. They both had a lot of respect for the other side. They both only did the songs because Dr Dre and Eazy-E asked them to and not because they had any real beef toward the people they were making the songs about. That's basically how gangbanging works. You hate some guys because some other guys didn't like them and you don't really know why. Sounds stupid because it is but that's just how gangs work in general.
@j.smoov72206 ай бұрын
Gangsta Dresta and BG Knockout stood solid on theirs. They didn't flip flop. Once Eazy E died down the line, both sides put their differences aside, but those guys were solid. Snoop, on the other hand, was always the type to throw a rock and hide his hands. He even did that inside death row. Plus, that sounds like he lightweight threw Dr. Dre under the bus.
@kenshelle16 ай бұрын
@@j.smoov7220 Not true. I saw the interview where BG knockout said he didn't have any problems with those guys he just did the song because easy asked him. Do some digging and you'll find the interview here on KZbin.
@j.smoov72206 ай бұрын
@kenshelle1 I've seen the interview. He doesn't have beef with them now, but when they were beefing, Dresta and BG were really about that life and even fought with death row camp. Look that up. BG fought, Nate dogg, they even stepped to Suge. When Dre got attacked at the awards show, Snoop was on stage and did nothing. Even if he was standing next to him, he still would have done nothing if BG and Dresta were there, and that happened to Eazy they would have taken action.
@kenshelle16 ай бұрын
@@j.smoov7220 The part you failed to understand is all that happened after they made the music. When BG knockout was asked to be on real Compton City G's he didn't have a problem with those guys. He said he just did the song because he was asked to. Everything else happened after that. Of course people are going to have beef AFTER you've dissed them. And yeah I already know about the fight at the golf course. After all I'm 49 years old and I was alive during all this and I'm not getting all this information second hand. So again to be very clear BG knockout had no problems with Snoop and his camp before he was on the song. You have the sequence of events all wrong. He did not do the song because he ALREADY had a problem with them. But of course once you say something about someone they have to respond and that's how the ball got rolling. You're making it sound like the beef cause the music when the music actually caused the beef. That's what actually happened and what's your pushing is a false narrative.
@j.smoov72206 ай бұрын
@kenshelle1 I don't have it mixed up. You're saying the same thing over and over, and I keep telling you I'm aware of that. I was also around back then. How many times do I have to say that I'm aware that BG has no beef with those guys now? I know he sided with Eazy E just like they sided with dre. Not just the golf course fight but also at a music event Suge tried to press Eazy and BG Dresta and others had Eazy back. A lot happened back then, but the focus was on how snoop dogg moves in the shadows and often speaks with a fork tongue. Anything else is irrelevant.

Nah. In many cases like with Tupac and New York he fucked up a lot but in this case its fair play, Dre and Eazy are just two sides now the point of having loyalty is that you choose one and stick to it which is as far as I understand what Snoop did here.

So snoop just told on his self if he did that for Dre how come he didn't do that for 2Pac when they came to East Coast Artis. He said he had love For biggie and puffy. . It shows you' snoop did not like 2Pac He was jealous because 2Pac took the limelight from him
