Promoting his album "Bush" with Pharrell, Snoop Dogg stopped by Shade 45 to chop it up with DJ Whoo Kid & Nickilishious. The 20-minute interview definitely has it's fair share of gems, everything from his relationship to Suge Knight, to the upcoming "NWA Movie" and who he wished would've been casted for his role, and the upcoming Presidential Election with his thoughts on Hillary Clinton.

Great interview! 10 years later and Snoop is still relevant for sure. It pays to be original. I never felt like Snoop lost himself making diverse records. I don't know how to take Snoop sometimes. I'm a real suspicious person and always think that there's an ulterior motive to what these guys say sometimes. Tupac isn't here to tell his side or to interject in any of these stories being told. In saying that, I have heard MANY statements from Snoop saying how close they were etc.. I did hear Snoop day that he and Pac had an argument the day before Pac was shot and how Snoop still regreted not making things right with him before he died. Snoop also talks about visiting Pac in the hospital, and making his peace with him at that time. However, hearing statements from Security from Death Row who were on 24 hour duty to protect Pac, said they never saw Snoop at the hospital and the beef between Snoop and Pac. had started way before his trip to Vegas and Pac thought Snoop was 2-faced and didn't want to be anywhere near him. And as far as Snoop and Suge, I never heard anyone say that Snoop had ANY contact with Suge after he left Death Row. Snoop waited until Suge was in prison, then left Death Row and all of a sudden had a lot to say about Suge and Death Row. Snoop was scared poopless of Suge and never made a move until he knew Suge was locked up. I love Snoop but I think his vision of seeing how things went down and reality didn't quite match up. I don't think Snoop was all that close to Pac as he wants us to believe. Dr. Dre was Snoops guy, and when Dre left Death Row, Snoop was left in a bad situation. Suge got him off the Murder case, so like Tupac, Snoop owed Suge, but wanted out. And Snoop did just that when Suge wasn't around any more. So when I hear Snoop go on about Pac and Suge, I take it with a grain a salt and remember. There are 2 sides of a story, then there's the truth.

Snoop left Deathrow when he stopped being paid and all his cars and properties started getting repossessed. As for Tupac, Snoop was there the day he died. Tupac was shot on Sunday and Snoop visited Pac on Friday.
