Yeah you should not snoop. But there is a difference between looking at the screen as it lights up when you get a message and checking old conversations and pictures. I often react when my partner, mother and friends get messages on reflex. So yeah I would probably sneak a peak, but I would never fully read the message or look in the rest of the conversation unless I saw a picture like that. Hell if I saw a picture like that from a girl on my partners phone I would read it all and then I would throw the phone out the window. You cannot blame the girl for sneaking a peak, that is just normal curiosity and I bet my partner does it all the time on my phone and I don't care because I have nothing to hide (only exception would be if I was planning a surprise for him or something)

My sister had that logic. The logic of " if you can't trust your partner there is no point in the relationship. Later on she found out by her friend that he was cheating for a year. And she found out. the reason why her partner cheated was because he knew he could get away with it BECAUSE she had that logic. That logic of " if there is no trust it won't work" point is he took advantage of her trust knowing she would never get caught. Because he knew, she will never search his phone. She got lucky that she heard from a friend. If it wasn't for her. He would probably still be doing it.
