This was a good topic to cover. It’s okay to feel jealous, but you don’t want to dwell with that emotion for long. You can evaluate yourself and look at why are you jealous? Is it an insecurity on your part, or a problem in the relationship. The take it or leave it was fun. It’s okay to have your own preferences on food and fashion.
@blobbloblbolb79953 жыл бұрын
@Christina I would disagree that jelousy is not a healthy emotion. As long as you don't become overly jelous or let the emotion get to you it's fine. Like any other emotions they are healthy as long as they are to an extent.

In some language like Arabic there's a word for "healthy or positive " jealousy((ghebta)) it means you want the same goal while feeling good and wishing the best for the other side. So its just motivation for 2 sides. "Negative,unhealthy " one ((hasad))is more like bitter feeling for someone's good topic .and actually wishing nothing but fail or loss of that good topic. This one is just toxic .
@nla78113 жыл бұрын
I'm Persian and I wanted to say this too. I thought ghebte was Persian. but now it's obvious both or Arabic which have been added to Persian. thank u for describing so well Ghebte is like : I wish I could do that too. Anyway you're doing great. Congrats Hasad is like : It must've been me instead of you. And you don't deserve that

I was about to write this! Jealously is more of a spectrum.. Negative/positive, but also from you or from the other person in the relationship. It can also be with reason (that person isn't the most trust worthy) or without (it'll probably be an issue with you, maybe from previous relationships, or a bad trait you need to work on)
@raychances62513 жыл бұрын
Is it a bit like admiration/envy compared to jealousy, maybe?
@DeeRafatSweileh3 жыл бұрын
@@raychances6251 See, the actual translation of Jealousy is *Gheera* غيرة, which tends to have a negative meaning but I guess it depends on the context. The main difference between *Ghebta* and *Hasad* is what you wish for the person and whatever you're jealous of. It's an added aspect besides jealousy. *Ghebta* is whenever you're jealous of someone, but you wish that whatever you're jealous of (abstract or something concrete/materialistic) grows and prospers in the other person. But *Hasad* is when you're jealous and you wish that whatever you're jealous of disappears from that person. It's a very horrible thing to do/think. So with Hasad, you wish it ends, because if you can't have it, they can't either. (it's a very ugly way of thinking). But Ghebta is more like, if they can do it, I can do it too! And I wish them nothing but blessings and prosperity. So we should try to be more like that... Get jealous but in a positive way...? 😂 It's so hard to explain in English but yeah.. I hope this helps

I just remembered that Woosung was/is interested in Psychology and it shows with his explanation about trauma which was reasonable in my opinion as I study Psychology i have a feeling lol 😆 . Of course each individual is experiencing different types of situations and not everyone’s going to react the same way to things but it’s definitely reasonable to take a look at your past experiences weather or not it might be a trauma that causes you have some type of reaction to certain things if you know what I mean. It’s also not the end of the world if it really is trauma cuz you can overcome it with many ways and one of the most important thing is that you accept it and try to move on. and of course it depends for some it might be really deep and unconscious and it’s going to take time and courage from you but you can definitely work on that especially if you have access to professional help and all Okay I’m lazy to explain further lol bye ✌️ I definitely enjoy watching these series and podcasts in general it’s so interesting to listen different minds good luck 👍 ❤️❤️
