I was blown away by the water clarity too. I heard of this lake from my local dive shop. They like to dive in this lake because it is so clear. I will keep searching for a lake that is clearer but I think it will be tough! Thanks for watching and happy holidays!!

Crystal clear water in New England is truly a treat. The only time I've seen a clear, deep pond was in Norfolk, CT on private property.

Mid august wetsuit still needed says it all about northern New England . I was lucky enough to take a dip in lake Champlain on Labor Day weekend this year

Even on the hottest days that water still feels cold in New England. I know some folks that do the polar plunges in the winter and they are crazy haha! Very nice- I’m sure that Lake Champlain water was refreshing. Happy holidays!

We have tons of those little Rock Bass in my lake and they literally exclusively live near all of the crumpled infrastructure lining the shoreline of our man made resevoir. That Bluegill was standing his ground against you Graham 😄 Litterbugs suck!

Rock Bass love the structure that’s for sure. I love their red eyes. Haha that was a very bold bluegill! They will do whatever it takes to guard their nests. I agree- I never understood why someone would litter? Thanks for the comment and watching!

Yes spearfishing is allowed in Vermont but it does have specific regulations depending on the body of water, species, and date when you spearfish. So- if you decide to try out spearfishing, check the regulations first! Thanks for watching!

bruh they are taking the dame out that has the 100? year old turtle in it "The proposed action is located at the Springfield/Weathersfield Reservoir Dam in Weathersfield, VT. The project would remove the deteriorating reservoir dam which has not served a functional purpose since the Town transitioned to public supply wellfields in the late 1970’s"

Yeah it’s always sad to see all the trash. Thats why I try to clean up as much as I can when I’m snorkeling- at least I left it a little cleaner. Happy snorkeling!
