the jelleton with big fists would've been cool to feel the punch or uppercut. but in the end we won't get any buff. just natural fish looking. phooey!

I know a bunch of people are going to say that "we were robbed" when they get to this video, so I want to get this out now: we were not "robbed". A lot of these designs are really cool, but it's not like Nintendo devs looks at cool stuff and is like "You know what would be cool? If we DIDN'T do this". These designs didn't go through for a most likely good reason, whether it be time/budget/engine constraints, a lack of cohesion with the other outfits, just not fitting the design they're looking for, or maybe the idea on paper doesn't translate too well in game, on model, or during animation. Developers give us these art concept books because most of the designs and ideas are genuinely really cool, but developers chose not to put them in game. It's just a part of the development process, there's no malicious intent. TL;DR: Nintendo didn't "rob" us, stop complaining about getting an insight on cool development stuff.

Thank you, character and world designs are subjective, a design that looks bad to you may look incredible to others and vice-versa. I didnt even enjoy side order that much, but that doesnt mean it is a bad mode.

@thesecondtontsoprano Yeah, this sort of “WE WERE ROBBED WAAAH” mentality is going on right now with Gen 6 Pokémon designs that were leaked. It’s like, no, you weren’t robbed of anything. They just didn’t want to use it due to either like you said, time constraints or it not fitting the game design as a whole. It would’ve been cool to see that peanut Dino Pokémon work, but, some things work, some don’t. That’s just how it is.

Precisely, so many times I see people say this on designs and it's like 1. yall would say that about the current designs if we had gotten those concept designs regardless, and 2. THERES REASONS!! There's reasons why they scrap them!!
