I think this snowstorm surprised a lot of people. Another channel I follow is in the Canton area received around 18 inches. The Cadet did a great job.

Great little snow mover blade on this one. Light duty, nothing like the old IH stuff but you can't beat it for the small work. We were hoping for 10" but didn't quite get it.

Can you show how to start it properly? Choke all the way up and pull that button left side of steering wheel up? After it starts then push that button down and lower the choke?
@SolunaGarage3 ай бұрын
The lever that moves up and down is the throttle. Throttle up at least half way. The knob below is the choke. Pull it out completely if the unit is cold or hasn't started in 3+ hours. When the engine starts, push the choke knob in. It should stay running.

Thanks for your videos! especially the one on the new GT's. I recently purchased a GT3200, today I was plowing snow with it- and working very hard. The snow is hard and crusted with ice. The issue I had was towards the end of my work, the hydraulic system started failing, the plow would not lift, the power steering was hard to move, and the hydro got really sluggish. Could I have just overdone it? What might be the issue? I limped back into the garage, and got my old 1650 out. Thanks!

Thanks! 3000 Series are awesome machines, though they have their issues just like anything else. Have you checked the fluid level? Has the filter been replaced with a proper hydraulic filter? If the basics above are good, I would suspect you may have a failing charge pump gerotor.

@@SolunaGarage Thank you so much- and no- when I first got it I added the proper cub cadet hydro fluid but did not change the filter- I do have a new filter and need to do that. I will keep you posted- Thanks again!
@SolunaGarage3 жыл бұрын
Make sure you get the correct filter or equivalent - a standard automotive engine oil filter won't work. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Thanks for keeping the old 3200 alive! The two I use: Cub Cadet 923-3014 Wix 51410

Is that a lawn tractor or garden tractor? Lawn tractors have a smaller weaker rear-end they do not have enough umph to push a lot or do any serious garden type work without blowing out the hydrostatic transmission. I wouldnt push snow with a lawn tractor. Bad idea. Now looking at it after you pull out of the garage I notice a tiller attachment that means its a true garden tractor and it was built to push snow move large things and till up soil. Its a workhorse.

It's a garden tractor. A light duty one, but still has a strong frame, drivetrain, and rear end.

I see them on CL and FB Marketplace for 100-200 pretty regularly. They are the most common attachment for the 2000 Series.

I gave 100 bucks for the snow blower attachment 4 years ago went to get it Dam thing had only been used 2 or 3 times. I think I've used it more.

@@SolunaGarage How is the performance with the 23's compared with 20's?
@SolunaGarage2 жыл бұрын
The ride is better, absorbs shock and makes the jobs where you are on the machine for hours less painful. Performance is totally different, but that is based on the tread type and the fact that they are brand new rubber.
