Snow started blanketing East Tennessee on Christmas Eve afternoon. By 5 p.m. an inch already had fallen in many places.

That's so pretty there. I'm in Ohio and it was 51 degrees yesterday. Today, a lot of snow and around 29 degrees. Someone obviously wished for a White Christmas.

@@tybugz3867 Hello there! Would it surprise you to learn there's a place in Canada that normally enjoys warmer winters than Maryville, Tennessee. Snow is also extremely rare there. Would that fact surprise you?

@@scholarlyanalyst7700 Haha, i would think Canadian's Hate the snow considering they get a crap ton. But, yes Knoxville gets a total of 4 inches of snow a year averagely but we got 4 inches in one day!

@@stephenbates8111 Please copy/paste the following searches to Google's search engine... 1. Knoxville, Tennessee average winter temperatures 2. Race Rocks, Canada average winter temperatures. The results will 'pop' right up on the 1st page of google. Average all the highs and lows for the 3 winter months and you'll see Race Rocks has a significantly warmer historical average winter temperature. Also, scroll down on 'graphs' and you'll see Knoxville gets about 3 times more snow per year (most winters in Race Rocks, Canada transpire COMPLETELY snow free!). You can see the source for the information is NOAA (a US Government Agency). Surprised?
