Went ok this hike in summer 2018. The mistakes we made was going to late the day in the summer and not having enough water. We did not like all the rocky switch backs. But once we got up and to the lake it was worth it. Would we go again? Yes..If there weren’t other beautiful places to visit. We visited Lake 22 yesterday. Not as many rocky switch backs. The lake is pretty but Snow Lake is prettier in our opinion. But both hikes we fun, great workout too. Next up is Naches Peak for star gazing. Thank you for posting this video.

Awesome! You will have a great time. You don’t need to purchase tickets ahead of time but there is a pass you need to get at the parking lot

I am flying to Seattle next week so we will be ubering everywhere, do you have any advice on how to get there by Uber, and if you need to buy any passes in order to be able to hike the trail? Thanks

To get there by Uber, you would need to tell them to drop you off at the "Alpental Parking Lot". That's where the trail starts. But it's about a 1-hour ride from Seattle and it might be tough to get an Uber back from there to the city. It could be easier to rent a car for the day. Keep in mind that weather this time of the year is variable and there could be snow. Yes absolutely! But it's also the end point of the hike, so you first need to hike up there!
