If they were taken from their natural habitat, sure. But all the snow leopards at Melbourne Zoo were born into Melbourne's climate, so are well adapted. They are well looked-after and show no emotional and physical signs of stress or discomfort.

@@tepidwinter25 they are not all born at Melbourne zoo, snow leopards are not owned by any zoo or WWF, since they are protected due to declining numbers in the wild. The Snow Leopard Conservatory (SLC) moves them from zoo to zoo around the world to match animals for breeding.

@@rickigloo1561 Oh yeah you can buy everything in the US. Dart frogs, tigers, Ak's. Semi automatic though. Bush banned full auto. Aus doesn't let you have anything. Here you can get a small cat. Which I like also. Big cats and smalls are the same, as long as your not the type to say no to the cat it's fine cos a leopard wont let you bully and abuse it. It will hurt you. May move to the USA later. In America you can buy any animal and any plant.
