with Pukkelpop in Belgium, snow patrol had taught us to sing 'shut your eyes and sing to me' and even when they wanted to start 'just say yes', the whole crowd was still singen shut your eyes! :-D and when they left and the concert was over, we wanted them to come back and play more, and so we began singing shut your eyes instead of we want more ... It was a piece of magic =D

The 60's vibe might remind you of songs by the band America (Ventura Highway, Horse With No Name) or even Crosby Stills Nash and Young. The lead guitar part (1:17) sounds slightly reminiscent of the lead from 'Anenome' by The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

This song is incredible, but the lyrics concern me as it may relate to "Monarch Programming" oft reflected in the lyrics if not videos of those "groomed" in this mind control (millions have been) Victims used heavily in the entertainment industry because of the creativity the process enhances.
