spread oil out, heat oil then put the egg in so it doesn't stick. Rookie move bro

+The Prepared Canadian He's right. Unless you preheat your pan, it will always stick.

It is possible to season titanium to create a non-stick coating for frying. Eggs should “ALWAYS” be cooked… Low and slow. I use the lowest possible flame on my canister stove having a wide flame pattern (Narrow flame pattern, will just heat the center of the pan only), sometimes even removing it if it’s cooking to fast. I find it best cooking over my Trangia alcohol stove using the simmer ring or even placing it on some warm coals if using fire. The type of oil you use is also important, because titanium has a high heat transfer, you want to use an oil with a high smoke point so as your oil doesn’t break down and cause a bitterness to your food and/or release free radicals which could harm your body. Following is a list of oil‘s and it’s smoke point: 520°F refined avocado oil 510°F Safflower oil 465°F refined or light olive oil 400°F vegetable oil 325°F extra-virgin olive oil 302°F butter

Low heat and use an aluminum disk or can lid for a diffuser. You will get improved results, though... this is not Waffle House and your egg would be the envy of other campers in your group. Get you a pot gripper handle at REI or other... it will give you better ergonomic control. 👍

To "burn" only oil in pan first, reduce risk of sticking.

Before a person tries cooking in the backcountry, on minimal gear, they should actually learn to cook first.

The irony here is that you were trying to show us how to cook an egg, the easiest thing to do next to say, boil water. LOL, What's next, beef stew? Thanks for the laugh. 😂😂😂
