To be fair, Cartman actually adds more value than he detracts. Three of them shovelling for $10.00 would be $3.33 each. Four of them for $15 dollars is $3.75 each. So they do actually profit purely from his negotiating.

Cartman certainly put his foot in his mouth when he insulted Kyle’s religion after the latter objected to his laziness! I don’t blame Kyle one bit for hitting that tub of lard in his face with a shovel.
