I did not expect another springtime snow storm. But severe weather seem to be following me around. I head up across the mountain plateaus to get west, and have to suffer another convoy in a snow storm. I am able to get out of the convoy and spend a few day winter camping in a snow storm on the mountain. I enjoy a ski trip filmed with my drone, and make coffee and cook hamburgers in a burrito. I also give rundown of how I spend my days in the van in winter, what I do on a normal day. Enjoy the video!
My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada but with a diesel engine and manual transmission.

This is my complete second winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in November I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from November to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.

I'm glad for you, you had a ski-moment. The air on that snow-scenery must be so pure and healthy for the lungs. That snow-storm makes me think of the heavy snow-storms you had in your red tent, among the pinetrees of the forests. In your van you are more safe, and you can prepare consistant meals (in your tent you were sometimes limited to some dry food or a few light cookies for dinner, without Spanish Serrano-ham ! Hahaha 😂 😆)

I think that during the winter the lazy rear axle of the Plows freezes so much that only in the spring it thaws and is released :-)

Hi & thanks for sharing , I’m doing this trip myself after Christmas mid - end of Jan for a couple of months, these vids are really helpful ref driving conditions etc and also a great watch .. I’m going to travel up through Norway , is there anywhere I should definitely avoid at that time of year or are the roads mostly ploughed regularly , I know it will be stormy and unpredictable but a heads up would be nice , thanks again for sharing 👍🏻

I do wonder about the internal height of those 15m3 L4H2 PSA vans as they're limited to 186cm ceiling height! Planning to buy a similar Van but a 17m3 version called L4H3 so I can have 211cm internal height, which will be much more spacious... Any ideas about my POV of L4H2 vs L4H3 ? I feel trapped in low ceilings and it's very disturbing for me. Have u experienced a 17m3 L4H3 PSA Van so that can u compare with your L4H2 15m3 ? * Love your videos btw. I've been in Norway but NOT in that weather...

Heavy snowstorm in the end of March. You really had a long winter of driving around in the snow. As well as other wet and wild weather! Contrast that with the hot and dry US West. Which is the best?😁
