Peter Dinklage probably could have played one of these roles, although he might be a bit too famous at this point. But there are tons of other small actors who could have played these characters. As I recall there were a bunch of small actors who worked as stand-ins for many shots in the Lord of the Rings films. I'm just baffled that Disney opted out of hiring them.

Putting ethnicity aside, Snow White was always drawn/animated to have this soft, cute and bubbly type of look to her where you could feel a warth and gentleness just by looking at you. Rachel has this condescending and aggressive look about her where you feel like she takes no bullshit and it just doesn't work with the character. However, she seems to be able to sing very well.?
