Hey bro, I broke my leg in three places skiing 4 years ago. After that I was too afraid to ski even though I was a professional skier but i always loved the sport and I didn’t want to quit. So I started snowboarding which change my life now I think about it every day and it’s my favorite sport. I am thinking about re-learning ski in the future but right now I’m going to stick to snowboarding if you broke your back snowboarding and you’re scared just try to learn ski like I did. Best of luck bro.

My favorite part of this whole video is how as soon as that guy mentioned being nervous about dropping into the elevator shaft, everyone was like "hey no pressure man" because there's a lot of pressure with all those people staring at you and if you've been thinking about this one run all season, you know the best time for a run like that is on fresh snow. True friends will say "I know you've got the skills but if you're nervous and you don't want to, that's fine too". And thanks for wearing helmets. There are too many avoidable head injuries, and I wish pros would regule helmets because so many kids watch the pros and think they don't need a helmet. The best pow days are the ones where you come home safe so you can hit the slopes the next day👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

The whole video is absolutely amazing but it’s the music when y’all are sharing some of the best moments together just shredding that makes the video

Man, I miss the bird so much. March 14, 2020 wasn’t supposed to be the last ski day of the year in my head. Luckily I got 30 days in, but still... should have had at least 15 more. This is probably one of my favorite edits on BP. Kudos.
@BoredProgression4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I love this one too, Todd. Yeah it was very unexpected, especially since last year the bird went to July 4th! You were fortunate to get 30 days at least. Covid could have hit us in December or January! Let’s pray 🙏 next season goes better!

I'm a skier, only because I'd bust my ass on a snowboard, and I simply don't want to learn by falling over and over again when I already know how to shred the mountain on my skis. A lift ticket costs way too much to spend all day picking myself up off the side of the mountain. Haha. Snowboarding wasn't really a thing when I learned how to ski, but it certainly looks fun.

Love the edit. Love the way you guys are no pressure having an f’ing blast. Just stoked on the day. First half had some awesome first tracks, lots of good trees. I can tell you know your mountain. Been a few years for me, but I moved back near the mountains (Spokane) and I’m getting back in shape. Got a Rome Blur on the way so I can charge and slash and explore. Lots of little spots around here and I’m 2 hours from a Canadian resort. Just love watching this, inspiring.

Rode those chutes a lot back in the day. Lots of friends worked the Bird over the year so buddy passes were abundant. Really fun, but always wanted to be first down cause 2nd or 3rd you always got the exposed rocks. Always a good time. Good vid, brings back memories.
