Thank you for the video, and good job. Yeah - i have a similar snow blower, and as you said in another comment, it is very flimsy. The shear pins are very small, so they break with just the smallest of pebbles. The shute is very thin plastic, so easy to make a hole in it with a smal rock. Have changed the auger gear once already, after having used it 4 times for 15 minutes, the auger bends if it hits ice, so i have had to straighten it a couple of times. All in all just not a reliable blower. I now only use it to clear paths to my chicken coop and to my wood shed on untouched lawn, where there is no gravel etc, and it can handle that. Have now instead bought a 35 year old Ariens ST832 for $200, which is MUCH more heavy duty. Had to do a bit of work to make it run, but now i can clear my 300 yard access road without incidents :) So see if you can find an old Ariens ST824. They should be easy to source in the states, and spare parts are still pretty easy to find :)

The most common issue for has been the assembly connecting the top part of the chute to the controller that determines how high the snow is thrown. It broke within a year of purchase, manufacturer was kind enough to send me a replacement but now 1 year later that replacement cable seems to be not working again. Hopefully I can get it fixed before the next big snow!

Possibly, but I don't think so. I believe it was bogging down as I re-engaged the drive for the wheels. Could have been that snowblower has turned out to be very low quality. Something breaks just about every time I go to use it. Glad you enjoyed the video!
