Every Snowboarder needs a Skier Buddy and vice versa, Snowboarding with Skiiers is the best thing we have - share the stoke - no matter which material one uses. It's a team adventure!

Nice one bro, always said, Skiers are a Snowboarders best friend. Not just a waxed board or skis but well tuned, detuned tip & tail, sharp and smooth throughout engaged length of edge. Fast & Clean. Missing Verbier, hope you have a great season

I have always found that pushing at the snowboarders waste/hips from behind is better, the skier looses less speed and you don't run into the issue of the snowboarder not letting go of your pole, or having it slip out of some ones hands, or pulling them over sideways. Plus you can steal their wallet.
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
Ha ha!! Wondered where my wallet had gone! But yes, this is a great tip thanks - also my wife has the new poles with the safety feature for avalanches on the handle and if you forget and pull hard the handle just comes off..

For the ski slopes I've noticed that a back loaded binding will keep you in roughly same speed with skiers. Especially in smaller resorts with a lot of in and out of lifts happen. They suck in the backcountry/deep snow if you try to load from the back so pick a model that works either way.

Thanks for the video! Have you tried hard boots for split boarding? Any comments on them? Appreciate your help!

I have tried briefly the key equipment boot and got quite positively surprised. I’ll investigate more this winter on this topic. XV

Merci!
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
@quik31132 жыл бұрын
@@XVDLR j ai acheté le flex lock de chez karakoram que je vais bricoler sur mes plums. A voir cette saison, je ne les ai pas encore monté. Par contre j ai jamais essayé non plus le high back fermé, c est pas con ca!

Hi Xavier, thanks for the content as always. Just curious if you’ve heard about or tried phantom for your snowboard to keep it “waxed” and if so what’re your thoughts on it?

I have tried the key equipment version and got positively surprised. I need to test some more though to get a real input but will definitely lean more and more into it. Thanks Xv

try to always use poles in the downhill for the slightly uphill or flat tracks. poles in the backpack are useless. and use fixed poles that are better for skinning.
@XVDLR2 жыл бұрын
Thanks - looking a little dry for the moment, but hopefully it will come. Hope you get to enjoy a bit of snow somewhere this winter. XV
@stevefrink48422 жыл бұрын
Be careful... they stop in the flats. These tactics are good when your putting in a track you don't want people to follow. A little uphill will defeat most boarders.
@FaithandActiondotnet2 жыл бұрын
