ah man mike, you missed out on this one in the teenage years, so much fond nostalgia to this one, since we only got to go skiing once every 2 years (still lucky!) this really hit the spot for those winter day feelings. the music is amazing and the gameplay is great as well. i dont know of a memory pack that has more space, there are options for modded memory packs wheren someone has replaced the old battery based memory chip for one thats not dependent on a battery so it will last for many years.

I’m just past the 4th hour and really enjoying watching Mike play this. I never had this as a kid either. I did get an N64 on day one but I never knew about this one until I became a collector, and realized it was a good idea to keep an eye out for games published by Atlus - they seemed to always put out games in North America that most publishers wouldn’t, and at least from my experience, most Atlus releases are solid (and usually pricey unfortunately). I would still like to add this and the sequel to my collection one day, but I’m one of those people who like to have a game with the box and manual, so this one would cost between $250 - $300 for a good CIB copy.

Since Mike has brought up some great video game topics in the beginning of each stream, one idea I had was, “what’s the most rewarding game and/or challenge you accomplished for each console?”

There was also Snowboard Kids Plus for the PlayStation that was only released in Japan. It's a enhanced version of this game. The music is better, the sound effects are better, the controls are better. Extra Characters. The items work better. For example you can throw the bombs behind you. The difficulty is toned down a little bit. Really the only down side is the frame rate isn't as good, but other then that it's a better version of this game.
@beanguru6838 Жыл бұрын
I remember renting this game back then, had a blast with it. Replayed it recently and it took me a week to realize that you can dodge items by jumping when the exclamation mark is over your head, made this game way more bearable lol. you'll probably enjoy the 2nd game whenever you get to it, the difficulty is a bit easier than this.
