I drove one of these beasts for 10 years, grooming snowmobile trails in Ontario. Loved it most of the time. Breakdowns were a real deal miles out in the middle of nowhere. Our biggest challenge was keeping enough snow on the trails. Long hours of pleasant boredom punctuated by minutes of sheer terror! 100% slopes can be really interesting when icy!

I used to go up and run sno cats at resorts all through the Rockies and the sierras grooming ski runs and snowmobile runs and such. It was great winter work when construction was slow and it was a great time too! I would get baked and I had a bota bag full of schnapps to keep me warm and a Blaupunkt stereo to rock out all night grooming with ski bunnies! 💪👊🤙🤘

Stu custom-made that hoodscoop himself, using materials in his garage, as I recall.. That m10 sounded amazing... I thought he was joking when he decided to drive it through the winter, living/skiing in No. NY/VT. Those tires were a few decades old, also. HAHA! Thanks for watching!!!!

What does it cost to do something like that? How do people pay for it?
@samlovescars34 Жыл бұрын
Approximately several-hundred dollars+... Pretty much in-line with what it costs to have any large equipment come to your property and do a couple hours work. So, fairly expensive, but clearly, there's NO replacement for such a machine/service. They just pay Stuart, and hopefully factored this into their house-building budget. Money well-spent in this situation. Thanks for watching!!!
