I wonder how history would have turned out if the two queens had actually met and talked it out and reached an agreement. Great video! It made me want to watch the actual movie!

NAH, Liz was jealous, vain, and crafty and wanted Mary's head from day 1. Evil cannot survive in the light.

MQOS insisted frequently and passionately that she wanted to meet QE in person; however, QE tiptoed around the issue and did everything to avoid a meeting, told lies and made false promises. The Scottish Queen was well known for her charm and making people fall in love with her; the English Queen almost certainly knew this and was probably afraid of the idea of being face to face with her cousin because she didn’t want to like her. I think she preferred to keep their relationship strictly ink and paper because she knew it would be harder to like someone but also forced to be her enemy.

@@leslieblanco3536 I wouldn't say that but let's take a look at Elizabeth, her father didn't want her and her mother died on his command, her sister jailed her and she lost all of her step-mothers, she was all alone in the world and soon enough her cousin is trying to take her throne. But that's just my opinion i don't like either queens, I'm more a fan of the house of York
@leslieblanco35364 жыл бұрын
@@xxztarszebraxx4894 ^ no excuse. Elizabeth was cunning, crafty, and she made calculated moves. She was queen of the world and she took down a fellow queen and even killed Many of her supporters after promising her aid. Liz was vain, a liar, a usurper, a bastaard, and a literal courtesan queen (not a virgin, she had many lovers its even documented). NOPE
@xxztarszebraxx48944 жыл бұрын
@@leslieblanco3536 like I said I don't care for her or mary in just stating facts they were both not completely innocent, mary sent someone to kill her husband and Queen Elizabeth killed mary, and Elizabeth had lovers, yes but she remained a virgin till death that's what I believe or so but I don't have time to debate over dead people lol

yesssssssss, i was waiting for this! you did such a magnificent job in this. i specially love your use of the hand shots and all the sound effects nearing the end. you also used their confrontation so well- i think that scene has one of the best acting between two actresses i have seen in years. margot and saoirse are immensely talented and this movie was a gift. thank you for making such a beautiful edit!

@leslieblanco35364 жыл бұрын
her son didn't sign her death, lizardeath did. He actually wrote to Liz to spare his mom and compared her killing an anointed queen to her father killing her Mother. Liz returned his letter in anger. Fuck her.

@Hel V true but Stuart blood still runs thought the royal family today
@neoandroid85864 жыл бұрын
@Hel V Queen Elizabeth II is from Margaret Tudor (Mary Queen of Scots grandmother), who was also the daughter of Elizabeth of York and Henry 7th. The royals in power currently are descended from the Plantagent line as well. So yeah Mary Queen of Scots blood runs in the veins of Elizabeth/William/Current BIRTH royals of England.

@BeeKee4044 жыл бұрын
Does it help knowing that the creators of the movie are well aware of how them meeting isn't what's been known to be true but they wanted to create a "what if" scenario. Like what if they had met?
@joshuahorn11853 жыл бұрын
I agree, I hate historical inaccuracy however sometimes it really helps explain the storyline. Elizabeth and Mary may not have ever actually met but this scene portrays the emotion of the situation more than any replaying of historical events ever could.

The weak English Queen you portray is Elizabeth Tudor (Maggie Thatcher on steroids). Were there really so many black people in the UK at that time? Or is is that part of the manipulation of history they work on to make us forget who we were.

the Church of England started over the king wanting a divorce. I’m sure papists are much more true to Christianity than any Anglican back then.
