My analysis of Kevin's harrowing death scene from Snowpiercer S02E02.

Kevin being naked puts him also into a state of mind that he has no “cover”, he is helpless and transparent, therefore he will not be able to lie

Wilford violates peoples personal space, his gift of a bath is a hidden dagger. His gift exposes them, people don't want to let him down, to offend his most generous gift, thus, they are in disturbed way, thankful and uncomfortable. They feel as though they are in debt. Wilford suddenly has a position of power. Wilford doesn't kill, he exudes such commands such respect, such adoration, that people feel they owe him, that everything he does is for the good of everyone. That they should be honoured. He takes away a person's will to live, and replaces it with his own will. He cultivates undying loyalty. The people who know him love him, and they spread that love, hence why his name alone was able to govern snowpiercer even in his absence

I think she closed the door to 'shut out,' what was happening. Just as she is playing music to distract herself. She doesn't look comfortable with what Wilford is doing

Their positions say a lot in this too, Wilford has his arms outstretched and it appears that his legs are stretched out more considering his knees aren't visibly above the tub ledge. Wilford takes up more space and forces Kevin to shrink visually representing the control and dominance he has here, Kevin goes into a fetal position, showing his lack of power, his helplessness, and appears as a desperate last attempt at having some degree of defense.

I’m pretty sure Laytons bracelet contains his micro-chip that allows him to open doors on Snowpiercer. They can be surgically inserted with a syringe but maybe he hasn’t had time for that, OR it symbolizes how he’ll always be a Tailie despite now leading the train.

I think Wilford's plan was to leave Kevin on Snowpiercer and let him die. He planned to disconnect Big Alice while Kevin wasn't on it. I think he only took Kevin back because Layton would figure out Big Alice has no fresh food, which he did.

In S02 E01 Melanie explains that Big Alice literally can't ever disconnect anymore (due to the explosion triggered when Wilford wanted Alex to disconnect) and Alex confirms this Information. But he probably still hoped that Kevin would somehow die on Snowpiercer.

When Wilford takes Kevin's hand holding the razor he also repositions the razor from a horizontal cut across the wrist to a vertical cut up Ksvin's forearm. This type of cut is believed to be the more lethal since it can expose a longer length of the blood vessels in the arm. This is also a great piecd of foreshadowing. This bath ritual is Wilford's MO.

Audrey reveals the scar on her forearm and reminds Wilford that he had forced her to cut her own wrist. He just smiles and reminds her that he saved her afterwards. Did the same with Kevin. Wilford likes to be the saviour, but first, someone has to need saving.

I considered it. But to be honest, I just found episode seven so hard to watch, I don't think I have the stomach to make an analysis of it. I had to watch this scene like six times when I analysed it and that was really tough, but the events of the latest episode were next level messed up.

I will say this though: It's implied that Wilford has done this to other members of his crew and knowing that Kevin survived, it makes me wonder how many other Aliceans are walking around with scars on their arms. I hope we get to see them come together at some point. I don't think Audrey is faking it, otherwise why would she keep up the act after Wilford had left her with Kevin? She seems to have genuine Stockholm syndrome and all of that stuff she said to Kevin about Wilford being the only one who loves him is probably exactly what she herself thinks of Wilford. I think she's cruel to Kevin because she's jealous of him, she's jealous that Wilford took a bath with someone other than her. Which is super messed up. Audrey seems to have somehow given Kevin Stockholm Syndrome. She's shown to be a skilled mentalist but I'm not sure how she acquired these skills and I really hope we get an explanation sometime.

@@thetwotrainstheory8895 I got the impression that her "mentalist powers" were from her life before as a dominatrix. They keep mentioning brothels, but I don't think she was ever actually a sex worker. It wasn't until after meeting Wilford did she get made, and become the singer, starlet, Audrey. Wilford owning a vinyl record of love songs to himself sung by Audrey is some amount of proof that he made her into what she is today. I will say that I still think that Audrey is deep undercover. What she did to Kevin is most likely real, and I'm assuming there are others like him out there on Snowpiercer. However I think there will be a big reveal later that she's been playing him since she joined Big Alice, never forgiving him for the thing's he's made her do. That reveal will be the big deus ex machina event that will save the Snowpiercer. Let's see how things unfold :)

I think wilford is also pretty confident in himself. He doesn't show any fear being in the train and he doesn't show fear giving kevin a knife. He thinks he can handle himself in any kind of situation if he needs to.

I hated this scene not because was explicit but because I thought it didn't hold any meaning, it was just to show violence for the sake of it but the scene after discuss how it's easy to manipulate people by mining their beliefs and being the subject of their worship. Watch the upcoming episodes, more is explained. Mostly that snowpiercer was never eternal and needed big alice all along, for spare parts.

ah I think its because Big Alice already connected itself to the engine and have *some* control over snowpiercer. Also if Snowpiercer tries to go against Wilford, Big Alice can brake, slowing down both trains and possibly stopping them from moving. It's problematic since the trains run on movement to power their systems, so by going against Wilford it risks both trains running out of power. The trade system between the trains is also needed for snowpiercer, they needed replacement parts from Big Alice which they got in exchange for food. Honestly I can't be sure if this is accurate, I kinda forgot about the first few episodes 😅

When Melanie noticed Big alice she knew that it would try to connect to the tail of snowpiercer so melanie decides to use all of snowpiercers energy reserves to speed up the train but it wasnt enough and big alice was able to catch up and connect with snowpiercer, Due to the trains connected Big Alice took over all systems of snowpiercer and makes both trains come to a complete stop. Because Melanie used all energy reserves snowpiercer doesnt have the energy to start back up so they would freeze within 15mins. Big Alice had more than enough stored energy reserves and the horsepower to get the trains moving,

The Graphic Novel Series confirmed that there were about 10 trains, you could see that as its own universe but TNT even made a Timeline for the Snowpiercer saga that included the books, movie, and TV show.
