Great to see a side by side comparison of the two. Personally I go with the 6455b more often mainly because of its 60s aesthetics and sideboard with crane, but the 6436 is always nice to come back to when the going gets tough

In past, There was a big gap between western star 49X and tayga 6436. you had to choose between having a "crane+bed+ trailer combo" or having a far better off-road ability. that's why they added tayga 6455b to this game. Sure it's not an OP truck(because they don't want to make the game easy for you) but it's versatile and lovely to drive

I remember reviewing the Voron D on the channel after the 6436, it is a beast. 49X I find works well, but without being as satisfying to drive. I need to do more versus videos!

I use my 6455B for long logs, but I really wish they made it capable of having a logging crane as well. It certainly has the room for it.

Love IT! The Tayga 6455B is less capable dud to smaller tires. But supports all vanilla addons with Crane+Bed+Trailer. While the Tayga 6436 is better offroad but has less addons. Both are great trucks. Can beat most 6x6s, they also compete exceptionally well with the vorons. Which to me are it's biggest competitors

Ever since the first time I played this, especially with mod, I think it is one of the absolute best and most realistic vehicle games ever created- minus the fact that the trucks don’t handle at all realistically once they get up to speed or if you try to go past say 30 or 40 mph which is kind of ridiculous but I get it because they spent so much time and effort perfecting the physics of the environment and what you drive in like mud sand dry dirt wet dirt snow ice and a combination of all of those!?!!!? It’s just an insane game and I grew up on a junkyard and grew up around bulldozers and 18 wheelers and the type of stuff that you actually do in this game and so for me this game is nostalgic as fuck without ever having a predecessor to bring me that nostalgia but instead the nostalgia comes from me reliving childhood memories growing up as my dad ran a tow truck service and *CRUSHED cars for a living and sold cars and parts and all the stuff of the sort.. Snow runner is an amazing game!! I have the Xbox one X and I had to download it digitally as a physical copy of the game would not work at all??? I went through every single copy that three different Walmarts in two different counties had, and not one of them would even acknowledge the *DISC was in the *DISC drive?? Cyberpunk 2077 also did this but only with the second disc and thank God Xbox has a feature where you can choose to install a game before you buy it and this is how I managed to get cyberpunk to work with only the first disc being acknowledged!! (we are living in a time where moral value is no longer taught and this is reflected in the work space that those that grew up with no moral guidance, come to run and work in and develop things that you get that on a very high ratio, are messed up and or do not work- in other words: not too long ago it was very rare to buy a product that was defective or had problems and did not work….. but nowadays it is the dominant thing you have to worry about when purchasing anything-)

For 2 years i know of the "Tayga King" but just now realized the meaning when i was puzzled by why he was calling the kitties... Tayga's meaning is coniferous cold climate forest, but i guess to the unknowing ones sounds more like tiger

The 6455b when i first started driving it fully upgraded of course some reason it was losing power for no reason in certain area's and wouldn't move so had to back up before i could go forward again not sure why it did that but the problem eventually went away. Either way i love it compared to the original appearance and sound

I'd personally keep the 6455 in my garage for regions like Taymyr, as there are flat and deep mud alternatives to the grippy yet windy trails that it can still sludge through as an alternative to its lower performance. I just like it for its offroad capabilities, as it feels much better than the 6436

The only thing I don't like about the 6455B is that it just isn't needed. It basically does the same as 6436 and vorons plus why do we get ANOTHER russian truck with american map? American off-road trucks are really lacking in numbers in the game, while theres loads of choices in russian trucks. The maine region is quite difficult, which in my opinion was a great opportunity to add a new American off-road truck to the game that will be more capable than the others. At the moment from the american off-road trucks by pure performance ANK is the best, but doesnt have addons and it burns fuel like crazy. would love to hear others thought on this opinion and sorry for any mistakes english isnt mine native language. I like the video tho

@@ATribeCalledCars I also love variety, but at the same time I love the climate and I don't like driving Russian trucks in the US and vice versa there for I suffer from not having enough choices. Also, when a new map and truck comes out, I think it would be wiser to give player the opportunity to find a new truck quite early on the first map in order to actually play with the new truck. I don't see the point in giving a truck to the player when the map is almost done or force players to speedrun tasks only to get truck faster.

This was Awesome! Although it’s not as bad getting the new Tayga as you present it. I only had to perform a hand stand with one hand, play the Star Spangled Banner on an electric guitar with the other, all while building a beautiful back yard deck. No heart surgery was required 😂🤣😂. A couple future video ideas: Another Scout comparison test with every DLC scout (F750, TH, Sentinel, Jeep pack etc..) from season 1-7 compared to the Loadstar, OR another crane+bed+trailer comparison with the new DLC trucks (Bandit, 5600TS, Brigadeer, HX520, Tatra Force, and 6455B.) compared with the Azov 73210, and the Voron D (which wasn't in the first one).

got a couple 6436 in my fleet i rarely use as i just enjoy struggling. white western and gmc 9500 are my faves. cheep n reliabel. cat 680 and inter 540 are my expensive options. cat 681 when i feel like having dead axel issues

Great comp - thanks Ben. As with nearly everyone else I absolutely love the 6436 (just smashed Alaska using it!) but I sooooo wish I could have a crane and add-on such as a flatbed. But then if we had that maybe the game would become easier again which maybe isn't a good thing. Anyway, the 6436 just amazes me map after map to the extent I use only my BM17 (haven't got any other Russian truck except the Aozv 64131 yet) occasionally even though I really love that truck too.

Maybe, but just maybe New model B would be better JUST of combo crane + bed, but untill i get that truck, i get others 4 trucks, which it would give me more and better adons than one tayga, so Whats The Point? Waste of money for truck, but at least map & missions in Maine are ok Waste of Time, but anyway playng map tasks, so... Tayga B Will become a reward An WAY BETTER alternative to this New tayga is Caterpillar 681, even is better on tarmac at high speed, even better crane, and you can have better combo crane + side bed as having 2 trucks = cat +tayga old... Yeah, that is my thinking. You get it so late and other trucks are as good, if not better. The Tayga 6436 is nippy and fun, but it is outclassed in some ways by the 73210 and 605R. But I like to try new trucks for variety! CT 681 is a good shout, a little underrated I think. Cheers for watching!

Yeah I remember the TwinSteer is capable and one other vanilla truck that I have forgotten. A floating front and wheels still touching the bottom helps! Maybe the 714WM on 91-inch tyres is tall enough too.

Oh yeah, if the terrain is not too crazy the TwinSteer is hard to beat. I used it for a lot of Phase 7 Tennessee testing. Although here there are some nasty thin trails that can ruin your day...

I go with the 6455B myself. To me the 6436 is the kind of nothing. Relatively low ground clearance even with the lift kit, was prone to damage (notably fuel tank damage) though I think Saber may patched this somewhere along the way. And in general I just didn't like driving it. Felt light and slick as hell on roads (despite actually being pretty heavy), felt kinda twitchy and oversteer-y, it just wasn't pleasant to drive. Now the Tayga King Of Nothing has earned back a little favour with me over the years due to vehicles like the Warthog and Actaeon coming out which handle far worse then the Tayga could ever hope to be. So by proxy the Tayga suddenly looks a hell of a lot better. But when I first got to Taymir and drove the Tayga I did not like it. The Tayga actually sat in my garage gathering dust while I kept using the White Western for a good chunk of Taymir. Then when I started getting the Voron's, those I found was amazing trucks. The fact that the 6455B doesn't drive exactly like the 6436, thank hell for that I say.

It is interesting the differences in opinion, which is testament to the trucks actually having different personalities so kudos to Saber for that. I get why people would prefer the 6455B, it feels more stable and direct. I find the Vorons too slow to steer hence my love of the 6436, but the Voron D is a particularly epic truck (hence the review years ago). I would love to see more offroad and heavy trucks added to keep things fresh...

@@ATribeCalledCars I agree. We had a lot of svouts and a fleet of American trucks added, as well as some nice 8X8's (605R and Phoenix are great, even Force while slow is underrated). But we haven't had much in the way of offroad 6X6's in some time other then the 6455B. ANK Civalian I don't think really counts as it's just a new version of the ANK with more addons. But year at the end the day trucks people like or don't like comes down to a matter of opinion. Like for me I don't see frame length as a big issue. I find it difficult enough to get the Win-Steer to bottom out, let alone the 6455B. If anything longer frames might actually help some as when going though a mud pit, on a longer truck after your front tires sink, your back tires got a longer time on solid ground to push you forward before they to get into the mud. Whereas a shorter truck will get all it's tires sunk into a mud hole sooner, possibly getting stuck. At the same time I understand that's just my experience and others may not feel the same.

I was looking at footage from old to new and maybe it was given a slight reduction in potential, hard to say as I do not remember all the components I had fitted two years ago. Either way, the 6436 is still one of the best trucks.

Don't rage alt f4 is ur friend in single player hit it when ur load falls off and reload the game and hope auto save dint stich u up if I wanted to cry everytime I lose a load I would play hard core mode.. why snowrunner why are no manual saves lol my top cheat tip of the day. Be swift on the buttons tho. auto save happens very frequently

Your bias is showing. Also I just use a mod to get the 6445b, I did my due diligence on the B once, that was enough

My bias is not showing, I used two identically setup trucks to pull oversized cargo on a reloaded map and without mods. The Tayga did not drop the cargo once and had 50 litres of fuel left. The 6455B dropped it three times, was slower and had 13 litres or so of fuel. I did not care which truck won, but the reality is that the 6436 is better most of the time.

These tests in auto are horrible and does not represent even close to what those trucks can do. Smh. The b will out perform the 6436 any day if you're not a goon rocking only auto or even worse using an off road gear box

@@ATribeCalledCars go pull a truck that has long logs as cargo , side by side as soon as you can pop it into high you'll notice the B sit in 4th gear while pulling , the 6436 will sit in 3rd....

I love the KrAZ 255 but the fictionalization of it and the KrAZ 6322 really disappointed me, sorry tribe the tayga king is ugly and the tayga plan B is unusable
