Snowshoe's enduro trails are pure ROWDY goodness!

Coming back at ya from Snowshoe Bike Park for part duece. Same group, same stoke........ rowdier trails!
This time we show you what the black diamond trails on the Basin side have to offer, and let me tell you - these are some real gems. Both Trail P and Trail M are part of the Snowshoe Epic Enduro Series. I've been told Loam Farm 'aka' Greasy Street was built for an Enduro race as well, but I'm not sure of the specifics beyond that.
Everything at Snowshoe is amazing, but these trails, well you'll just have to see for yourself.

Went three times last year, but unsure about this year. I’ve never seen loam farm. Will definitely have to find it next time.

It’s not called Loam Farm...It’s Grease Monkey on MTB Project. Us locals call it Sleazy Street.

Stu Cat some other locals call it “greasy street”. The trail of many names.

@@SemiSendy LOL, that's my fault, I named the segment Loam Farm on Strava when the trail was first created for the Nationals Enduro and there was no name at that time. Another name for it is Camp 420... sadly I think it's closed now.

@@headsnap between you, me and the kitchen sink, I liked "loam farm" most. Sadly, the new green trail they are building "whistle pig" does cross over the trail 3-4 times, so it's going bye-bye. I'm sad to see it go, but I am glad that there will be some more green trail mileage for the people just dipping their toes into the park. On that note, trail P is going away as well, but word is a new machine cut black trail will be taking it's place. Snowshoe's recent "silver status" is about to already bump to gold. We're lucky they are so invested in the park. I have little doubt we'll see some new loamers pop up sooner than later.

That's the first significant drop on Sweet Dreams over in Western Territory. It splits off of Powerline.

quick question it was my first time going to snoeshoe a few months ago and i did a black tech trail on my trail bike i brought, fyi next time i will definitely rent an enduro but i did a single black tech trail called j that was very difficult. Is there any other black tech trails that are easier than j but harder than the one blue tech trail. I also did N after doing M the blue tech trail and that was not a problem for me.

J is one of the friendlier of the black tech trails, but the old trail P which is now "Rooty Pebbles" has changed to a black flow/tech trail and it's a blast and much friendlier. I go to Snowshoe to ski... but... there are some great mtn bike trails on the next ridgeline over- and they are free. Go up 150 past Cranberry Glades. There are trails on both sides of the road and the US forest service actually maintains them to some extent.

It's a little tricky. Entrance is back by Powder Ridge condos. It dumps out by the bottom of easy street for Ballhooter access. Worth finding for sure!

why not record in a higher quality like 2.7 or 4k?

I wish I could go back and upload a 4k version of these olders videos. Long story short, there was a lot of confusion around 4k uploads when I got started because when I tried to upload 4k, myself and other people that I was chatting with at the time could only ever view them in 1080p, and never saw a benefit. Long story short... all of that got sorted out and the all episodes were uploaded in 4k starting sometime around mid-2021.

What are your Fox 36 damper settings (rebound and compressions)?? Thanks mate!

At the moment it's set close to the factory recommended for my weight (180lb) on Rebound. HSR 5 clicks out from closed and LSR is 5 clicks out from closed. LSC is 10 clicks out and HSC is 6 clicks out currently. That said, I haven't had a chance yet to do any proper bracketing to dial this in.

Awesome. Last weekend was brilliant, weather turned out super nice after all the rain Wednesday. We did a lot of the same trails. 😂 it’s a shame that GoPro takes away just how steep the descents are or how big the features are. H and I were so good. Glad you guys got some good rides in.

Hey John, this was shot during the weekend of the fourth, but last week absolutely smoked! I'm glad the weather worked out so well. What trails did you enjoy the most? I spent time dialing in some hot laps and exploring some of the gems in the Western Territory including Hairball, Pro DH, OG, Five Year Back, etc. Still have a few more to tick off the list and others to get to know better. We'll be back again in just over a week!

Haha, for sure. When we first rode at snowshoe and didn’t know anyone up here, we found this one on Trailforks. That’s where we had gotten the name from at the time. Such a fun trail, too bad it’s gone now.
