Stay safe Rosa, especially using a camping stove in such a small enclosed space. It's not the fire risk but the carbon monoxide they produce, and Coleman models are especially notorious. Sleeping in the same space afterwards I would be careful to ventilate the car for a while first, say by running the car heater for a while with the blower on high to bring plenty of fresh air from the outside. Perhaps get yourself a carbon monoxide alarm to see if it's a problem.

I've stopped reading and watching the news 30 years ago. I realize it's not a very adult thing to do but it keeps me - kinda - sane. 🙃Rosa, do you have a heater in your car? When I wake up at 0°C I most certainly don't jump out of bed as quickly as you do, haha! Also, jealous that you guys have 24/7 supermarkets ... These are memories that you will cherish in forty years. I did the same thing in a diesel truck, cris crossing America for 21 years. Loved every minute of it. I would stay out in the truck 2 to 3 months at a time. Home for a week. Then do it all over again. Met a lot of wonderful people in my travels.

Rose if you use a tarp with bungee cords and cover your vehicle and then hook the bungee cords under your bumpers. Then all you would have to do is take the bungee cords off the bumpers. And shake off the snow and anything on it like Ice whatever should come right off that’s what this Northern grandma does take care. God Bless 🙏

Hi Rosa - Mammoth gives me great memories - after 7 hours of driving from SD and sleeping in the parking lot of the slopes, then waking up in the parking lot covered in snow - even in the 1980's their snow control was excellent. I want that blanket!! I would love living in a car. I actually did for several months, traveling the country. I left from Florida(Gainseville) and traveled west. I wish I didn't have to sleep in the front seat though. It was an Acura Legend, and I was heading to Colorado, but I went to meet a buddy I used to game with, and met his GF's sister, and somehow ended up in New Mexico, then Arizona..... I met a guy in Tuscon, and 10 years later, he asked me to be his best man. Life is strange, isn't it? I hope more people try and travel. Good things will happen. I woke up in Texas after a long night on I-10, and this road runner was sitting in front of my car, and I saw the most beautiful sunrise ever..... ever. Cheers

I like your videos! I did the 395 corridor in December. All the forest roads were gated. I did get to drive the senic loops Mammonth and June lakes. I hope to go again in warmer weather. Your videos keep me motivated to get back out there. Sometimes I live in a van. Sometimes I live in my regular house. The van camping is more exciting. Cant wait to lock the front door on the house and not come back for a couple of months.

So, I was talking with a cool co-worker at my Tahoe job, and he started describing to me that he wants to eventually live in his car and travel. And I said, "You should! It's great! I can recommend some good KZbin channels", and he said, "I subscribed to a channel with a girl traveling in her Honda Element" And I exclaimed, "Rosa!?!?" and he said, "Yeah!
