@@gnuui5376I will agree it isn’t necessarily fast going only 74kph stock but that low top speed isn’t because it lacks power but because of how it’s geared. The rubicon from my experience has just a stupid amount of torque stock, my rubicon has 27” tires that I swapped to after I wore out the stock ones (the 27’s are on it in this video) and it still has enough torque to spin the tires in loose dirt while gaining a higher top speed from the bigger tires adjusting the gear ratio. (Now it will go 110kph at the rev limiter). I’ve also ridden mine kinda hard on certain trips I’ve done (I’ll ride whoops at the sand pit near me at high speed and bury it quite deep in mud at least a couple times a summer) and it’s never let me down, the only problem I’ve had mechanically was I needed to do my wheel bearings this summer but that was after I had crossed 7000km on the odometer so I’d say the original bearings held up about as well as they could’ve. Definitely recommend the Honda Rubicon, great bike in pretty much any terrain and having no cvt belt to worry about is nice too

Hows that Rubicon holding up for you? Thinking about buying one Im like 69 want it to snowplow and jobs around the property and maybe some trail riding ,looks like your having a blast lol So what do you think about the machine? Whats your top speed on it? Thank you!

Its holding up great! 6500 kms (4030 miles) I plowed snow with it all winter and it handled the snow fantastic. On stock tires it will reach about 75kph (50 mph) but I have mine on 27" Kenda Bear Claw EVO's which going off of my GPS speedometer on my phone it will reach 110ish kph (70 mph). For trail riding it is the best quad in Honda's lineup IMO due to it having fully independent suspension so it really soaks up the bumps at any speed. You can go slow and its cushy or you can ride it like a sport quad like I do sometimes and its still cushy lol. I also use it around my place of work sometimes. I've towed my tent trailer that weights about 2200lbs (700lbs over recommended towing capacity of 1500lbs) and it towed it with ease in low range. Overall its a great all purpose machine, handles the trails great, handles utility work great, handles being ridden like a sport quad great. Definitely gets a 5 out of 5 score from me.

How many kms you got on this bike now? Looks like you driver her hard. Any trouble yet? I’m going to pick up one next week but just foot shift.

I’m at 6000 something KM and haven’t had any major problems, last winter when it was -30C the 4x4 censer did freeze and stop working until it was replaced but that’s not really from driving it, just extreme weather. I don’t really have anything bad to say about the rubicon honestly, just keep up on your regular service intervals and it should be good to go for a long time!

@@viper_offroad ya my dad got a 2016 rubicon with over 6000kms and 0 issues yet. I had a 2005 350 I bought new growing up and put 10000 hard kms on it with just one front wheel bearing and a $110 sensor for the electric shift that took me less then 5 mins to change. I had. Bunch of different Hondas over the years. Hard to beat a Honda.

Isn't the Rubicon's power and torque in the lower RPM range? Revving it up so high for that long isn't the best way with that ATV. You hit the rev limiter several times. It sounds like you're killing it for no reason. - IDK - maybe I'm wrong here.

@@micklariviere normally, even with a passenger I would rev it a little lower, but in the snow I find keeping the wheels spinning at all times is the most important thing to keep it from bogging down and getting stuck. Especially since I installed the 27” tires I’m running which take enough of the bottom end torque away that in mud, deep sand, or snow it needs a little more rpm to have the same performance as stock as I didn’t do a gear reduction when I went up to the 27’s
