Hi, can you detach totally the lid in case you use a filter with lid included ?

You can remove the fabric strap that holds the lid on if required - hope that helps! ~ Lauren

We aren't into misleading our customers, otherwise we end up with mud on our face. I can assure you that the contents of the storage sack are the water bag discussed in this video, you just need to roll it up and squish it into the bag. ~ Ben
