Does Shona Robison understand the meaning of the word, investment? I'd expect a see a return on Scottish Government Investment. Child poverty will not go away by handing out additional benefits. It goes away by providing a job and a living wage to the parents of these children. If the money was spent on adult learning or education or finding better jobs for the parents of these unfortunate children then that might be seen as investment. Handing money out is not an investment, it is a charitable cause. Again politicians, dealing with the symptoms and not the causes. This is why both Scotland and Britain in general are in such a hopeless mess.

Ignorance of Scottish affairs is evident in most of the English media and most apparent in the Sun but of course what they and the rest do not mention is that the Welsh Labour government announced even greater cuts (pro rata) to Public services but which of course is largely ignored by the very corrupt English media. It's frustrating to see the SNP being blamed for cuts that clearly stem from Westminster. Both the Tories and Labour have consistently tried to undermine Scotland. Now that Labour is in power and making these cuts, they still shift the blame onto the SNP. From what I've seen, the SNP has done a lot to help Scotland.
