Oh, this was SO worth the two year wait!!! I am never gonna listen to the original Happy ever again, because this right here is the definition of “glow-up” (like, I’m talking “It’s-a-Me” V1 to V2 levels of improvement)! The Laughter has Posed hard with this one. Humor aside, I half-expected this to follow the format of the song Lucky, which it did and more. Some of the traits it maintained most from Happy (that ever-mandatory PlayItSlow2, Mickey using his first turn's melody twice, etc.) were nice touches, and the build-up to the laugh and latter half hit just right with me. On top of all that, the instrumental bit that ends the song was pretty cool. Overall, nicely done, and best of wishes to you and the team on Absolute!
