Some clips are with 100 con tho. Do u need a pocket to play melee? Nah to play assassin? Nah assassin low con? Nah Solo queue for the win. If they fix hatchet tracking I'm gonna play a lot of hatchet in S5 Artisan's shield cost idk, 300g? Maybe less. SnS is named item. BiS hatchet is probably rogue, pen backstab, KE.

Remember to use 300dex perk to break CC (swap weapon) In S5 light load have +10% cc duration ( so 4 freedom in S5 = 3 freedom in S4 ) In conclusion, use 4 freedom in light build :)

U could try to get the Deep River Hatchet, rogue/keenly empower, and u can craft pen backstab on it, that's BiS dmg. But yeah u still need some rng bless to drop it haha

Fun build. any tips on farming that sword? Seems like it's just BS chest runs and that one Oracle boss in cast you can solo?

I joined a few BS chest runs, but I get it from Queen Ta-Bitjet. I was trying to farm the mount charm and I get the sword. Is not hard to solo, I was using just a spear/sns build (medium, with blooddrinker and fortify perforate on spear, u are tanky AF to solo almost everything) Jackalope Antler is ez to get too and can be crafted with Genesis materia. (it has leap strike perk and keen speed. u can add pen backstab on it) The Sword of The Champion (pvp track reward sword) is also good, but you would need a different shield, and I like the Artisan's one because is so damn cheap xD

@@ThaCousin yeh I guess I'll just keep doing the chest runs haha I've got an old 625 Lego round shield with shield rush, refreshing, sturdy, enchanted that I'm still waiting to put something crazy with. Maybe it works on a med Sns spear build. Cheers mate see u round delos

Hmmm not sure, are all very good abilities with pros and cons, but I think I like whirling. It has some tracking, it's good dmg, low cd and applies rend, so more dmg

@@ThaCousin im running at 50con with featherweight, but i wanna go 300 str 300dex and try it with the Natures wrath for more damage maybe? cause it procs the empower to base damage, maybe more damage with hatchet then? wyt?

For me, best current build is 100 con featherweight and I regularly respec in game to tumblers if feeling good depending on red composition And I'd drop bash for whirling blade it's just too good since free form and it allows you to finish easier. Bash is great in duel but every other scenario whirling is better plus against dex you're better off getting the rend on then watching them break stun for nothing I spec strength not dex dont think the damage drop off is worth the cc break Keen berserk on hatchet is better imo because 1vX you'll get amazing amount of kills SnS/H is off meta assassin now, everyone going spear/x GS/x so underestimate the power of SnS/H

Oh yeah WB is so good, I like a lot. Whirling blade is really good and the tracking helps too (and 10 sec rend is more than enough) in S5 if they fixed hatchet I'll try to use it as main weapon and run Butcher, that could be so good. I tried with whirling blade/leap/bash, but I agree, in general shield rush > shield bash. I would like to try reverse stab, but I should scarify Recuperation perk, and it's too good. And go 3 left side abilities or drop Whirling blade for reverse stab and isn't a good trade either xD I'm not a really big fan of keen berserk for 50 con builds because if I'm 50% hp im death the next second anyway hahaha But for 150 or even 100 con builds I could see the value of it, u get ton of base dmg and the crit chance go to the sky with a total of 68%, it's like a bis perk for comebacks. And for attributes yeah you right, unless there is a main dex weapon, is not worth it go for dex, the hatchet dmg is way lower. imo 350 str 200 dex is the best dmg u could get or I would go for 350 150 dex to go 100 con. 300 str 200 dex is only 0.4% more base dmg than 350 str 150 dex, but I rather have 10% dmg with last attack and abilities than backstab.

@ThaCousin you know your stuff cuz. You are right,if you want to try 50 con, I did for one week but just couldn't sustain any resist if I fought 1v2, the best hatchet is deepriver so you can have rogue, pen backstab, keen emp and make sure ther eisnt keen emp on your sword or shield. In 50 con I ran jackalope antler keen speed, leaping, trench strikes....keen speed was a must it saved me so many times. But the thing with 50 con is you have to strike first or gtfoh fast I find hatchet tracking has oddly improved since the start of S4 Torrent has been good since the expansion, and light attacks seem to be sticking for me just fine. I dropped free form though, I don't think hatchet is viable because of side/back roll in free form not possible. Don't mind though, free form ok for running but attacking I find it worse. With SNS also like to block and walk backwards it's amazing how many attack chains you'll mess up this way

Problem with this build is that you need low latency and players who don't know how to dodge for any of your raging torrent hits to land. I was playing pretty much exactly this (350 str 200 dex) for the first month of the latest patch and had to switch off it cause it would basically never actually land any attacks. Raging torrent seems to be timed such that one dodge will get you out of 2 hits, and sometimes far enough away that the rest of the torrent won't even land. At first I thought torrent tracking was bugged and went to complain about it but then I watched my videos back and realised its just times perfect to be dodged (like most abilities in the game) and basically fucks the entire combo if the person you are fighting presses shift once. That said, my latency is always around 100 ms and with the combat rework this might change if it helps hatchet track better!!

Yeah you right, just 1 dodge is enough to avoid half of the dmg. I think they didn't expected that burst and also could be players with some lag, idk. Is kind of a showcase of dmg potential, but in "combat". But I think Torrent and Feral rush are like Execute (GA), you need prepare the ground to use it, if u you use it, people will dodge it (or they should, are to ez to dodge) I want to play hatchet melee again but all depends if they fixed the tracking or not, even at low ping (I have around 50) I miss a lot of hits vs people at 0m from me, like literally hitting the air, is so bad haha If they actually fix it I'll be trying builds with hatchet melee as main weapon and not just a second for defy death and haste. Let's see bro 🙏Out there is plenty of hatchet enjoyers waiting for this fix, but as usual is taking way to long to AGS to fix it :/

tbf fs does shit ton of dmg, but hatchet too xD In this case I'm 50 con, full build for that torrent combo vs light players with 0% slash protection. And for some reason they don't use 300dex perk💀 I'm a melee player, but also a mage, a musket, a bow, GA, assassin, support, hammer, medium, light and heavy armor, etc. all except LS because I don't like tab targeting. So in general I'm not in one side or the opposite in the arguments.
