My mindset is it's use off stage. Regardless of whether or not you're defenseless, if he's off stage, you still have to maneuver around it, which is tough, if not impossible for some characters. I'd say the only thing with a similar amount of edge guarding power is pits arrow, but because of the projectile speed it isn't as potent

Camron Cook no Nikita doesn't need a nerf. 1: snake can't move during in it, so he's already vulnerable during that time. 2: without Nikita, snake can still edge guard, but he doesn't have many reliable edge guards other than Nikita. 3: you can hit the Nikita missile and recover just fine. The snake player has a hard time controlling it at that point. There are ways to deal with it other than nerfing everything

@@FullMetalNull As someone who also plays Snake, I'm gonna say this rn. His air game is in no way good lmao They're only good after getting a grenade to hit, causing a combo. There is way too much landing lag for him to just do aerials all willy nilly (unless Snake is being pressured, in which, he'd use down air or back air Out of Shield). His least laggy aerial is up air, and that move has 15 frames of landing lag. And tilts are good, but nothing to write home about,m, unless you antiair or read with up tilt, use f tilt for damage and as a get off me move, and d tilt to pop people up in the air or a long range poke. They're also fairly simple to punish except maybe d tilt depending on the MU. Snake literally has to use grenades and net for grabs or he'd be done for. I think Ally should've just gone Mario for this MU because grenades just blow up as soon as they interact with Joker's Gun, which is bad since grenades are what help Snake's shield pressure/conditioning. Snake needs those grenades, as zone heavy as he sounds.

And tilts are good, I just wouldn't primarily use them unless the opponent is not giving me any breathing room. But I can see why you want more Snakes to use more than just grenade. Because even I have to admit, I can see why some players don't like watching, fighting against, or even playing as Snake.
