We recently bought a Dicktator ECU and asked them to build a plug and play loom for a VW VR6 and send to Australia. The workmanship on the loom was amazing and plugged straight onto the engine and fired up straight away. Value for money these guys are untouchable. My son and I could not be happier. Thanks guys…. Hi guys just found your channel new sub here! I’m a mechanic in Queensland Australia and it’s good to see an old taxi motor getting some love! Great engine good to see you did the research and do it right the first time! And top quality work guys,I just spent 2 days fixing wiring nightmares! All my own doings though! Another engine often overlooked is the gm 3.8L v6 they are very cheap and very strong not as powerful as the Barra but with the cost saved over the ford they can be tuned to match the ford at that power level anyway! If budget was unlimited billet 2j/rb stroker to trump the Barra but a billet Barra I’d swap my rb25/30 for that any day!

@@speedandsoundmagazinemost of what I work on for hobby sake is low budget junk even my beater/sleeper commodore i specialise in making cheap stuff go faster! Btw check out corn fed boost I just found his channel he does all his own work and his v6 makes good power! Iron heads stock crank and oil pump but still much better build than mine and about twice the power!I’m new to the KZbin scene and am setting up my channel properly soon, just posted some older videos of my eBay turbo,stock ecu,original trans $300 ute on my channel.I’ll keep adding more small videos of other cars I work on and see around here too. Hopefully one day I can drop the spanners for a camera or steering wheel! Great channel anyway if I didn’t say before! love the different varieties of cars we don’t see to often here.

Yeah. You guys used to help sponsor Tolla Daniels(2.0 8valve turbo,then 2.0 16V opel turbo motor). By now,you should know he has the turbo Barra in his Escort. Ran 8 something. You should come and see him run. He will be up there at some point,and still putting out low power last I saw him talk about before testing. But running now, tells me he got used to it and and.... the thing is wicked! Ran pretty straight on Killarneys crap quarter..but check him out soon. I think for now,it might be the fastest Barra we have currently in SA. NOT 100%SURE!! Also,in Ozzy land, they have street cars that can run low 8's and high 7's. Love the 2jz,but man,those prices! I was going to buy one but things happened and put it off. It was like R4,000. Now? Damn! Even the V8's,RB26's. All went to space, outer space in price. Great video.

Rods and Pistons are not the same gas one has a pressed gudgeon pin and turbo has floating gudgeon pin

incorrect a factory turbo barrahas a full floating piston/wrist pin the lpg/gas and petrol engines have a pressed fit wrist pin.
