Dude this video is genuinely a lifesaver. I’ve been doing a poison hand run (poison builds dont get enough love) for the past few weeks and while I’ve found a couple tricks (for example the jumping heavy attack can hit twice if you wiggle while falling) and already thought of the synergy with K.O.R exultation, I’ve been at a roadblock with messmer and I’m terrified to try and fight Radahn. I think with this build I’ll be able to stomp them properly, thanks a ton!

25:50 i did some number crunching and found that the *normal charged attack is around 2540 dmg, but with the stager and poison buff and charged attack to the head is a total of 6327 dmg, combining the hits comes to a total of 15194 dmg from all three swings seen on screen, as a wise old flex seal man once said "that's a lot of damage"

Another really good poison build is the Serpent Fangs with Poison Flower Blooms Twice and Occult infusion. You can reach even higher poison build up and it works really well with multi hit talismans but it definitely isn’t as good at poise breaking

I love poison builds in every game, but lets be honest, elden ring fails us poison fans in two big ways: - stop making us wear a damn mushroom on our head - poison builds in ER are not built around... poison. Please do the Bloodfiend arm next, with cragblade, bleed affinity and everything you can use to buff charged attacks and bleed procs. Blue dancer charm won't help here, but you can use a dagger or something with shriek of sorrow since equip load doesn't matter

I was trying this build yesterday and it's amazing, the only downside is the short range but it does such a nice damage, I als paired it with Occult Misericordé with Royal Knight Resolve, since this hand has really good poise damage and fast strong attacks, I poise break bosses on ng5 really quick and crit them really nicely.

Im not quite following the build 100% cause im running hp and a defensive talisman instead of the 20% hp talisman cause I cant dodge every hit im not that good I can do pretty good but not every hit good, I don't think I'd be able to progress against the elite type enemies let alone bosses. It's actually so stupid how strong this is even without that 20% and the vigor points being put into instead of like endurance for the talisman persay. I soloed the first dragon u find otw to the cummunion altar in 2 tries with this weaker version like its honestly insane.

Arcane builds are kind of stupid just in general. Mushroom Crown + Kindred of Rot's Exultation + Offhand Poisoned Hand is a free 41.9% damage boost (38.6% in PvP!) when your Poison something, and since it's an Arcane build you can have a mainhand Occult weapon with innate Bleed buildup and use the Lord of Blood's Exultation with some Sacred Bloody Flesh (a consumable farmed from Blood Fiends) to skyrocket your damage on top of the benefits of dealing both Poison and Bleed damage. Put a few points into Faith (I find 16 to be a good stopping point) and you can cast a variety of Incantations using the Dragon Communion Seal, which can easily reach 300+ scaling at minimal Faith investment and 80 Arcane, and it weighs nothing meaning there is no reason not to use it, you don't have to sacrifice anything and you gain so much. This includes options like Bloodboon, Swarm of Flies, Rotten Breath for a third status effect in the form of Scarlet Rot, and The Flame of Frenzy which will do bonus Madness buildup since it's being cast with the Dragon Communion Seal, which gives you yet another Status effect (one that can only be used in PvP, but still) which is frankly nuts. This is alongside other generically good damaging options like Bestial Sling, Catch Flame, and Fire Serpent, and a bit of sustain in the form of Bestial Vitality. And with the DLC, we got 2 new incantations that have extremely high Arcane requirements, those being Bayle's Flame Lightning and Bayle's Tyranny, which have no other requirements meaning we can slot them in just for the hell of it without any issues other than Spell Slot restrictions. And since you can only obtain one of them per playthrough, THAT MEANS NEW GAME+ BICTHES. By the way, having 14 Mind lets you cast both of those once each back to back, thus I like starting Prophet with it's 14 Mind and 16 Faith, starting with the Stonesword Keys to get the Dragon Communion Seal right from the start, then getting The Flame of Frenzy on the way while obtaining Sacred Tears and Golden Seeds. It's all just a bit convenient and I think that's neat.
