Tracy Jr. looks promising and I hope we can build around this young nucleus. DJ has shown flashes of a franchise QB although those flashes will find him a spot as a back up with another team. Reluctant to admit any mistakes. Treatment of face of the franchise generational talent Saquon Barkley and failing to even make him an offer was a disgrace. You can’t let 40% of your offense walk away without compensation especially to the Division Rival Eagles 🦅 ! Misread the RB market despite questions from Giants Executive Staff in Hard Knocks. Saquon was the security blanket for DJ. DJ never was evaluated as a 40 + throw a game QB capable of carrying the team (even with adding Malik) ! He was a competent game manager given a good OL (which management failed to construct over last 2 years) who management grossly overpaid (again misreading the market) . Record sacks last year injured DJ and ruined him mentally ! He will resurface next year as an excellent backup - let’s hope it’s not Philly !
