Re: Mel being "uptight" She's just like her father, and she doesn't even know it. I find this to be a nice parallel to Zag being similar to Persephone. Re: Icarus So flying was on the top of his list of fears... Could it be trauma due to flying too close to the sun? And he made his own wings, notably not a drop of wax or a single feather in sight. I also imagine they're as fireproof as possible. Seems he never wants to make sure he'll never fall again. I'm afraid this depiction of Icarus has stolen my heart... Re: Strife and Retribution I'm honestly not surprised that these two have fought before. Eris causing problems on purpose and Nemesis trying to teach her "c-consequences". Interesting to note that they both weild Exagryph and Stygius, respectively. I'd like to see the Infernal Arms fight each other, rather than the Nocturnal Arms.

I do think she takes it from her father ^ but doubtless Hecate raised her with high standards. I do think the parallels are cute, Mel's room is a nice and tidied encampment, while Zagreus has a messy bedroom fit for a prince. Icarus's phobia to fly was really cute! As someone who has a fear of heights, can relate. Right, I'm sure he acquired this fear after the incident. Which him conquering this fear makes him so much more admirable! I don't see a resemblance to his father's wings either! To be fair, he had more resources to work on this time haha. Supergiant's Icarus is also becoming my weakness (not good). I do think Hades 1 weapons clashing would be badass, and their own respective Aspects no less!

YAY! MOROS GETS HIS OFFERING! Also Big Meli was hilarious! And I love your interaction with Icarus, I thought I was 100% behind A Moros romance, but if we don't get an option to romance Icarus, imma riot. He's really nice and really cute! Anywho, back to the matter of another fantastic run. I loved Soot Sprint, I didn't even think about how much it would help against Eris. Hestia has always had some of my favorite boons, and I'm glad to see more uses for them! Maybe one Episode you can do just a bunch of Chaos Trials?

Yay for Moros! I was dead on Big Meli lmao. Moros romance was one I definitely saw before, but wow Icarus is such a sweet boy. We're in trouble if he's not an option. Appreciate it! Soot Sprint always sounded good, but I never had the confidence to run into the projectiles and have faith in the sprint. But wow is it really strong! I'd love to take boons from Hestia because I really love her, but still need to figure out the Scorch. Need to try that Fire Extinguisher boon, the one that consumes 300 scorch damage, causing that burst damage. Hmm, I'll consider it! I didn't think it'd be exciting, but perhaps it's nice to get out of the way haha. or maybe they are exciting to watch!

Regarding Icarus being a shade, it’s not all that surprising. It has been quite some time since I’ve actually read the myth, but general consensus should be that after he flew too high up near the sun the wings Daedalus made for him out of wax and feathers melted, and he fell into the sea and drowned. That being said, if Selene is here, they might add Helios too, and Icarus-Helios interactions would be something interesting to see… Edit: Another fun bit of possible interaction with Helios, if they ever introduce him, is with Circe. I was kinda stuck on Hecate telling Melinoë Circe “hails from the sea”, because I was something like 99% sure Circe is the daughter of Helios, and turns out, both those things are true! She is indeed born of Helios, and of Perseis, the daughter of the deep sea Titan Oceanus (namesake of the biome!) Fun fact about Circe, she’s not only Medea’s but Ariadne and Asterius’s aunt! (

I like the wands aesthetically! So, I prefer not to give up on it. I may try Hestia wands, fire over fire makes sense. Last keepsake I think is Hestia and Apollo. Shame on me for not gifting Hestia for my first god.

0:50 It seems that this trail is basically like the first run (No Arcana, No Aspects, No Familiar, starts with Apollo) the only difference being that you have a keepsake. 2:42 Well, with Demeter having to split her attention against multiple enemies, the ice won't stay frozen forever, so the undead will eventually get free. 4:48 Yeah, that boon seems to basically be the opposite of Demeter's Rare Crop, Boosting boon to max rarity right away, but they lose power over time, so it's better to get near the end of a run. 13:25 He says as he's currently in said Taverna. I'm just imagining Mel walking away and Odysseus just immediately chugging the Nectar. 13:43 I think the fight did happen. I think the trails do have Mel doing an actual run through the given region, but Chaos has used their power to make certain changes. 25:25 Makes sense that Chronos would want to return to that way of life. By preventing progress, the mortals would be reliant on him, granting him more power over them. 30:50 I think he may have thrown a boulder at you, but I'm not sure. 38:54 Probably, they voice distortion from Phase Shift carry on into dialogue, so I would assume Mel's deeper voice from becoming larger would as well. 41:00 Wait, so did Icarus have something to do with Mel losing her arm? Was she trying to heal him in some way? Or possibly return him to life? Is that what she meant by "making shades whole"? She tried to revive him and somehow lost her arm in the process? 57:55 To be fair, in the first game there weren't two separate menus for the weapons. Selecting an aspect and levelling an aspect happened on the same menu. 59:28 Yeah, Moros's Keepsake seems very interesting. It seems that, when you would die, you have 10 seconds to finish the fight, and if you do, you get some hp back.

Ig even the gods have their limits, I figured Demeter was much more powerful than the boons she gives out, meaning she could freeze someone indefinitely. I just imagine Od is drunk when he speaks senselessly lol. Hmm, okay. and the game does count these are runs so you may be right. Wonder if the Trials are meant to be a timeskip to when we get to that particular region? Just feels like a simulated run to me. Ya, it "was the blasted Boulder from before!" - Hades I think Icarus was fine, it sounded to me Mel was skeptical of Hecate's comment about restoring shades, and Icarus was her cheerleader. Mel had the ambition and Icarus was there to "encourage" or "pressure" Mel into performing it on the cauldron for everyone to see. So, the accident was very public. An embarrassing day, or night for the princess of the underworld. Right! it's because the first game you could choose and upgrade on the same menu!!! (ahh) I may like Moros Keepsake more than Schele tooth the more I read it!

I don't particularly ship him with Mel, I just... his eyes. Damn. Usually Nyx's children have yellow eyes, him and Eris are the only ones with purple. Icarus is such a sweetheart. Him being dead already doesn't really surprise me. I am more preoccupied with figuring out what exactly is going on with Heracles: Is he dead? Is he a god? The Naemiean Lion skin and the Learnian Hydra in the underworld suggests he has already been through some of the 12 labours, if he hasn't finished them already. The Odissey and Iliad take place after his story, thus I guess he has already ascended to godhood, though why is he still so salty about the others? Guess being immortal doesn't erase the pain of losing your family..? I need more info on this chap.

Never tried it with Death Deviances before. I keep accidentally, raaah! Idk how I officially ship yet, I do see many possibilities ^ even nem and mel is starting to look possible for me. Moros's eyes and voice is enchanting ^ My timeline on Hercules is hazy too. He said he recently came from the Underworld, which I assume was from one of his 12 Labors. Surely, he didn't take on Cerberus? Maybe he took on Lernie? or am I confusing it with a different Hydra? I do figure he would be salty over the gods, I don't blame him at all haha.

@@Hamstir4 He slayed the Lernean Hydra (Lernie, yes) pretty early on in the labours, and his last labour was to take Cerberus alive to Mycenae. But the myth says he asked Hades, who gave him permission to borrow Cerby *without hurting him*. I don't think this could've happened in these circumstances. We need to study Hunkules closer indeed.
