Thank you for the reaction! I love this song! I have seen Nightwish live once with Floor. Then I have seen Tarja's rock solo show once and her Christmas shows twice. Indeed, End of an Era was in 2005. Tarja was the original singer of Nightwish and she was in the band from 1996 to 2005, this concert here was her last one. I think that Nightwish's music style with Tarja was heavier, in the early albums, than what it is now. Since their 4th album (Century Child, released in 2002), they became more symphonic. After Tarja's career in Nightwish, she started her own solo career. Tarja has been very successful and is still making music and touring around the world. And she has become a great songwriter. Tarja also continued to develop her voice, and she nowadays uses a lot more chest voice than she did in Nightwish. Her solo work would definitely be worth checking out at some point.
