@@garylikesgames Yeah lol, it's easy to watch and be like "why didn't I do x?" but as hours of your life get sucked up by a single chapter you just wanna brute force it with whatever strategy you're tunnel visioning on to get it over with instead of restarting from the beginning. My heavy use of save states for Ch 28 and 29 actually made me play a lot worse and get even more frustrated I imagine.

@@garret4075 Great question, I'm actually in the process of theorycrafting a glitchless run. I probably won't try it myself any time soon but I think it's possible. Battle Before Dawn would be the biggest obstacle, but I had the chance to rescue Jaffar, and the rescue staff could've been put to use earlier. You'd basically get the staff then go backwards and start heading to the left treasure room (with a rescue chain probably), rescuing Zephiel with the staff on the way. The treasure room is probably blocked off by now, so use the rescue staff again to get Hector, who'd be carrying Jaffar. Ch24 is another story. There might be a way to save Wallace, but leveling Eliwood and Lyn to get the Linus version isn't as bad as it sounds. 18x for example has axereaver peg knights right next to mountains, easy xp. And if Lyn mode is possible without attacking, that's 10 easy chapters to gain levels. Some arena/boss abuse might still be required though.
