If there is no spoiler tags, comment will be removed by mod. (Ps I will only have a mod during Rebirth) So feel free to discuss with each other about anything, as long as you use the spoiler tags! Ps. I will talk about the Remake, Crisis core, Dirge of Cerberus and Advent children in my playthrough, because that's how I play games. I discuss the story so far and what I think might happen etc. If you don't want any spoilers from these titles- safest bet is to watch a playthrough WITHOUT commentary. SPOILERS . . . . .

Oh wow, you spoke to one of the infantry guards at the entrance to town, it’s not important but it creates more irony later when you pluck it out the back of your memory and you’re like. “wait a minute-?!” It’s the little things 24:15 I like to think that he actually did go visit his mother and that’s why you can’t find him specifically right now, and she was just as cheerful and complementing him on how handsome he looked, just like a genuine mother would even though he’s not the rank that he wished he was. Sephiroth is always kind of unsettling, even when he’s not the bad guy😅 47:50 “He seemed like less of an ass in the remake” I love this game, after completing it and hearing people talk about how the OG resonates within rebirth specifically I feel like I got to play the OG with very minimal changes that keep it fresh for everyone

I wish i was already here because i don’t know what is your KZbin channel name since my clerith friend gave me your channel link and started watching your videos is part 36 Gongaza where Aerith and Cloud find rock salt and mushrooms for first time and subscribed your KZbin channel then i went back to watch part 1 through 35 everytime you upload new video of part : 37-59 if i was here then i won't spoil in here because i completed Rebirth on March 9th, 2024 since it released on February 29. your video date is kinda confuse me said it is 3 months ago when you said please no spoilers when i went to watch this part in last month July. yeah i know you explained to me about pre-record videos after played then i understood

I have to say this, when the OG FF7 came out, there was not Crisis Core, so we are blind to the story and was so fun to find out the real events. Now with the OG Crisis Core and the new Crisis Core Reunion, we are playing but we already know the main story, so listen you saying "That's Cloud" and others stuff, look like awkward to me, somehow the magic is lost, but still we have a amazing game with new stuff that the OG didn't have it.

Omg I can imagine the shock!! For me I played CC first on PSP, then I watched someone play FF7, so I already knew 😹 but that also made it very interesting! Because then it also made ME confused, since Tifa didn't say anything etc... So even if I played CC first, OG FF7 still managed to gaslight me into thinking that maybe Zack's memories were messed up too! So I dunno, I don't feel like the magic was lost 😸 I just had several different theories to try and comprehend it in different ways, like, what if the games are doing the same thing to US the players- like Sephiroth is doing to Cloud. Tifa being sceptical of Cloud's memories from the start was a give away tho, that something was wrong. Especially with Cloud getting those flashes. So I did lean more into it being false memories anyways, mostly because of the flashes and how Tifa acted. Since Tifa seemed to have her memories in check, no flashes or such like Cloud got.

P.S. (59:40) - You said "checking for materia" - yes !!! - It's great that you're exploring - remember, search everywhere - it's much more important in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth than in Final Fantasy 7 Remake!!! - I keep my fingers crossed - and have fun in the next parts Slashterpiece Gaming !!!

As you can see I'm having so much fun already with Rebirth! The cutscene with Claudia is so sweet, o feel bad for Cloud 🥲 but none of the characters have has an easy life... 💔 Hahah! One thing I have noticed from you in this game and Remake, is how much you don't like Cloud. And while I can understand why. He is very direct, often rude and dismissive. But you have to understand, the Cloud we play as is not the real Cloud. Not yet. And given how you have played Crisis Core and the OG FF7, I think you know why. This Cloud is just acting the way he thinks a man in his position should act. Not a Rebirth spoiler. This is the story from the older games, but we can assume that the story in all the remake parts, including the last that is not made yet, is gonna be very similar considering what we have seen so far. Cloud has not been himself since the Nibelheim incident, and the flashback we see here can not be trusted either, since we know he is a very unreliably narrator that has very screwed up memories. The whole party except Tifa have never known the real Cloud. I think Cloud's story is a very interesting story. A man struggling with his identity. A man who has a inferiority complex, and hides that by creating a superiority complex. A shy, lonely introvert, who struggles with his confidence, and who finally comes face to face with those issues once he finds himself again.

Cloud is a very well written character, I liked him in Crisis Core, I just don't really like him that much because of his personality now. Especially how rude he can be to the ones close to him. I didn't like him in Advent Children either 😹 and that is after all the events and he already knows who he is.

@@SlashterpieceGaming Yeah. He was not very nice in AC. I agree. And then he had no excuses to be an ass, other than his past trauma, and struggling with guilt over not saving Aerith in time. So it csn be explained a little bit, but I really get your frustration with him in AC. I was sad seeing him treat Tifa so badly in AC. Since Cloud, the real Cloud as a child and teenager, have always tried to impress Tifa and get her to notice him. I get that he feels very guilty over not saving Aerith and having so much trauma that he never got real help for, but Tifa is the last person he should hve pushed away.

@@SlashterpieceGaming And by the way. I don't really ship Cloud with anyone, but I really think there is a stronger argument for him being with Tifa, rather than Aerith. Remember, Aerith never got to know the real Cloud while she was still alive in the original timeline. He was still part Zack, part jenova clone, part manipulated by Sephiroth. All we know is that when Cloud was a kid, and completely himself, he did everything he could to impress Tifa. He even tried joining Soldier so he could be seen as a hero to her. But yeah. His treatment of Tifa in AC goes againt that. And it is a shame because I love both him and Tifa as characters. I guess after all the events he went through, he became a different person. And I think he put high walls around him to cope with what he has experienced.

@yvindjenssen7254 That really was the worst, how he treated Tifa in AC 😭 it's not like the other characters didn't have their own trauma growing up. But it's how you handle that trauma, Tifa and Barret really grew from it, Yuffie and Aerith too. I don't think Cloud is the only one feeling guilty about Aerith's death. And knowing Aerith she would never blame anyone. Tifa and Aerith's bond is also very strong. And I really like how the Remake is portraying their relationship! but Tifa is still able to push through her grief , while Cloud prefers to stay in the past and wallow in self-pity 🫠

@yvindjenssen7254 I don't care too much about which ship is canon or not, the creators did do it ambiguous for a reason. I just lean more towards Cloud and Aerith because I like their interaction and how he is with her. We'll see if I have a change of heart in rebirth 😹 I'm super excited for the gold saucer!!! I'll be happy with whomever I get, just hoping that it's either Aerith or Tifa on my first playthrough 😹 dunno whom you can get other than the OG ones.

So you know this flashback story is just Cloud putting himself in Zack's place cause his memories are mixed-up due to his mind being mako poisoned from being in that mako pod for 5 yrs thanks to that damn mad scientist freak Hojo🙄

I see you did not catch the Zack reference with the shinra guard at the entrance to Nibelheim. You know the guy who said: "Anyone here you wanna see, maybe a girlfriend?" And: "Speaking of which, I bet you're dying to hear about mine?" Those lines are Zack's, when he and Cloud were talking in the hotel. Since you have played Crisis Core, I would have thought that you had remembered that. :P So Cloud is of course misremembering here.
