I was 1 year loc'd on the 6th of this month. My locs are on the smaller side, I have fine hair, so I can't do the super thick locs, but I started the rubber band method for the 1st time yesterday. I needed to try something new, I stopped using products like oils and gels about 2 months ago, I just use water, I just spray my hair with water or rose water daily and that has done wonders for my hair, oils and gels make my hair super itchy, plus all my retwists just last 1-3 days tops, the oils or gels never hold and I hated that, and I have a lot of loose hairs coming out some of my locs that refuse to stay put, so far I like the rubber band method, it keeps all the sections intact and I don't have to feel bad about a fuzzy retwist. The only product my hair is gonna get is a little Jamaican black castor oil that I'mma soak the rubber bands in before I put them in my hair. I love how my hair looks in the rubber bands ☺ I think I'mma love this method.

This is so amazing I remember your very first video when you was doing the rubber band method like it your locs came very long way they are nice long and big oh and you’re the first person I know that did the rubber band method and always show proof that it actually works so thank you for that and when you gonna do another updated video on your locs and just asking.

Don't lay on them while they're wet. And if you do, just add water to plump them back up
