This is the chaotic orchestra of life and one can't deny the feeling you get from listening to something so beautiful.

This is one of those rare songs that can be used to express love, tragedy or triumph. Fucking epic...

Isn't this more Black Metal rather than post rock? Semantics I suppose...
@zachariasezekiel9 жыл бұрын
+Clinton Elliott it's considered post-black by a lot of people. but you're right, it's just semantics.
@vaniumvii64539 жыл бұрын
+Zach Isbell sounds like atmospheric black metal to me. :p
@aarongtr1809 жыл бұрын
+VaniumVII It's atmospheric in more of a post-rock way than a traditional black metal way (emphasizing textures rather than "coldness" or "rawness"), yet still maintains certain black metal characteristics, hence "post-black metal". Sorry, I'm a bit of a genre nerd lol.
@vaniumvii64539 жыл бұрын
stil atmospheric black metal. basically, its easier to put abm in the genre when copying the cd as opposed to post rock blackened black shoemetalgaze
@aarongtr1809 жыл бұрын
***** It's atmospheric, yes, but "atmospheric black metal" is not a subgenre. Post-black is, and it's one that's been gaining quite a bit of traction in recent years.

Good music that is ruined by incoherent/generic screaming...
@longridetonowhere30889 жыл бұрын
+DecrepitServant Obviously you don't know what good screaming is, because this is it.
@EndeAbgrunds9 жыл бұрын
Longride Tonowhere No it is not. It is tedious and there is no range in his vocals, it is the same note over and over and over.. Dodheimsgard is a good example of what screams should be.
@jimmyn7t9 жыл бұрын
well i agree with you but only cause i dont like screaming at all :/
@kalle5799 жыл бұрын
+DecrepitServant The lack of range and that it's the same note over and over again (though there is slight range and not literally the exact same note all the time, there is slight variation) is what's good about the vocals. That's, in my book, the definition of awesome black metal vocals. Harsh, raw, cold, repetitive screaming is what black metal vocals are all about.
@EndeAbgrunds9 жыл бұрын
Kalle Ojala This isn't black metal. It's post-metal with atmospheric elements.
