Hi, Diana Give this a whirl, take aluminum foil fold it up a bunch and run your dull blade through it as many times as you can. It will sharpen your blade, I do this 3 or 4 times before finally putting a new blade in. 😁👍👗

You can also buy a rotary blade sharpener. Dull blades are dangerous.
