I find it so hard to believe Caine isn't malicious because he's based on AM from 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream' and if you've ever read that story or played the game the AI in it is one of the most cruel horror villains ever designed.

But that's been done so much the "twist" is nothing but a cliche at this point. There's a theory that the exit Pomni went through isn't the same one she saw because the first is orange but when she goes through it, its red. Another theory is that Pomni is only there because Kaufmo abstracted, replacing a clown for a jester (entertainer themed) this branches off into once an animal character (jax) or doll (ragatha) abstract, they get replaced by someone in the same category. If you look closely at the doors with a red X on it there's a queen chess piece who is theorized to be named "Queener" and people like to think that used to be Kingers wife I just thought of something but when Pomni goes into the void Caine says "They'll get totally spoiled." Spoiled is a strange word to use because Pomni looked more shocked in the void then "spoiled" (spoiled as in getting everything you want). The end clearly shows that the void plays a huge part because its the last thing we see before seeing the real world (theorized to be Pomnis desk). I really do think that the Void is the way out some how, Pomni's name also translates to remember. The void is what could have made her remember something because after everything is over, Pomni doesnt actually say anything. I think Caine said spoiled as in she may get spoilers, even if he meant spoiled in the other way, all Pomni wants is to leave.

Another theory that’s out there is that there really is no way out. Escaping the void will bring you back to the computer in that room, still part of the game. That’s a better explanation as to why Pomni looks so shocked. Only time will tell as to what she actually saw in the Void.

My favorite theory is that the inhabitants of the digital circus are only copies of their original consciousnesses. At some point, each of their original selves put on the headset, downloading a copy of their consciousness into the game. The originals then took it off and left, unaware of the fact they've just created a clone of themselves in a doomed existence with no way of returning because they're just copies.

Honestly the theme song for the show goes pretty hard. I would not be surprised if there was ever a game made based off of this since the concept would work so well, (of course I'd only want to buy an official release). I absolutely love the character design too, idk why people on Twitter and other places were shitting on this so much, the animation looks great, the voice acting is good, and the character designs are really nice. What to do in a situation like this is to go Zen. If you're in a hopeless situation you need a mental balance to stay stable, and the best way to do that is acceptance. Oddly enough Jax, the rabbit guy, has the best strategy. He's going with the flow, going with things and just reacting. Don't doubt for a moment that he wouldn't jump on the idea of leaving if the option presented itself, but he won't drive himself insane looking for it. He's riding this crazy wave and not getting swept up by it. Which is what I'd try to do. I'd personally see what kind of body I have first and then see if there's some sort of long term thing I could accomplish. Like a mastering an instrument, learning to juggle or just exploring every inch of the crazy place to map it out in my mind.

I would Recommend taking a look at Glitch Productions other series like Murder Drones by Liam Vickers or Meta Runners as some examples. Just note that Meta Runner season 1 was created with a lot less funding then the later seasons so know that the quality improves as the show goes along.

The reason why Jax is such a likeable dick is because Michael Kovach, (the actor for rocky in lackadaisy, N in murder drones, Fantoccio in billie bust up, and WAS the actor for angel dust), bought so much charm and charisma to him.
