Feedback: When checking for coin: When the coin is inserted and triggers the start, wait for the restoral of the switch before the actual start. Mitegates a continuation at the end of the game. For the button: Once pressed, game controls are locked - it goes down, attempts to grab, goes back up - then returns to home, releases. Trick - leave the claw over home in an open position - on a game start, restore to closed and then begin game. - or you can just have the claw reset to closed after music has settled - just gives time to clear. Also add a sound for 30/15/5s remaining if it really takes that long - just for fun. Since the button signals the end of the game, different lighting can trigger (like flashing - eg gameshow / wheel of choice etc) Also means you can have a set bit of music that plays while it's homing

The Raspberry Pico (RP2040) is a dual-core microcontroller. You could have used just one instead of two by using the two cores separately (one core for control, and one core for SFX).

Great video. One other thing to add other then using the second core on the pico, you could have it home back once you pick something up. You have limite switches so it should be easy.
