You challenged me to add a Pokeball to Scrap Mechanic, so I did it! Now we can play Pokemon in Scrap Mechanic. I like turning your crazy ideas into Scrap Mechanic mods. Although it takes a lot of modding work, I think the results are well worth it.

I was one of those kids that really enjoyed Pixelmon, so a Scrap Mechanic version essentially is so cool to me and makes me feel oddly nostalgic. Though there's something to say about the chance, I think the health of the entity would determine whether the ball bounces off more often the higher the health, something like a difficulty curve that way you can't just cheese the game with a single farmbot. Idk that might be difficult but it's an idea to add some sort of difficulty curve, even making it so there's multiple balls with higher and higher chances of catching stuff.

Some ideas: A health bar for your bot, that only goes up when in your poke ball I also saw somebody say make it easier to catch with low health, then you can heal it when it’s in your pokeball Edit: rideable pokemon?

Could have just given a player a unique color based on join order (ie join first = blue the player after that gets green and so on) games like TF2 use that system to save player data. When that player crafts/picks up a Pokeball their color gets applied, and then when it is thrown at a bot and spawns the bot, the color of the Pokeball get applied to the entity. An example of this being in the game is if a resource collector is painted white, then you stick a haybot spine into the collector and pull it out, and the haybot spine becomes white. Not sure how simple this would have been, but if a player leaves and rejoins the colors might glitch... which obviously is not optimal.

1000% should try to keep improving this. More commands would be nice. Finding a way to fix aggro if possible. Nicknaming the captured mob would be neat too, like a GUI when you hit "Q" with the ball in hand to enter a name or something. A health indicator would be awesome, could even use the refining circle to show its health while you hold the ball and have it regen while in the ball. Remembering kills to increase max health as a for of "leveling" might be neat. I could totally see building a rolling cage that a captured bot can push around as armor or something lol.

Can you make a jump pack? Kind of like a jet pack. But it allows you to jump much higher and descend far slower. Like the F.L.U.D.D in Mario Sunshine, just with less power... You could even make it use water and stun enemies below it/ water your garden.

Make that you have to craft the balls and if they don't catch you lose them. Make that when you retrieve or realese your bot, you throw a ball (not consumed, only aesthetics). You could add the color selector from scraptoon to the ball to select the color of the bot so you can do coop battles

you Should Make it so that Your farmbot could gain levels and Move faster or Attack faster or do more damage or become a better farmbot like after Awhile your Totebot could become a Haybot, Then if you attack only Tape bots it would become a tape bot after awhile of improving himself gaining more health or other such buffs Or if you had it do a finish move to enough Red Farmbot after lowering it health Enough It would gain red farm bot Parts and slowly after improving and getting buffs such as Slower movement but more dmg or Such you could have em become a red farm bot same could be for explosive Tape bots and when the Roof Bose comes out that as well would be interesting for a base protector you would have to have it in the poke-Scrapball to move it

I was thinking if storage sensors would be doable in scrap mechanic..🤔 Imagine connecting a chest to the sensor, then the sensor would activate controllers, logic gates, engines, etc when there is an item(or a specific number of specific items) in the chest connected to it.
