I first played KH1 and KH2 when I was in middle school, I think. But shortly after my dad took them away cuz he didnt like all the "Darkness" stuff..... Little did he know I still watched gameplay of it online. Lol. But now that Im an adult, I have them ALL on pc! Hehe. It helped me thru rough stuff when I was younger and it helps me to this day, since I am now disabled thanks to covid. :)

I would say kh1 really is objectively the worst of the bunch, but what the best game in the series is, is subjective.

I honestly think KH1 is pretty great, it’s just that it’s a solid middle ground compared to the rest of the series. Like an easy 7.5 or 8 out of 10 for me personally
