So I Played Zeepkist With a Steering Wheel...

Hey everyone! Welcome to another video and today I'm back in Zeepkist to try and play it with a steering wheel setup! I've never tried to do this before and had no clue how it would turn out but let's just say the results were mixed xD Let me know in the comments below what you thought of the video and I hope you enjoyed watching as much as I enjoyed playing it!

Make sure to call out if you are using the steering wheel for the multi-player maps y'all do. It really comes thru the videos when you are having fun.

itll be obvious as the amount of input is shown onscreen, its why i asked-suggested about how input type in his ludicrous speed video, i think it was because he said that he kept skidding anytime he steered or something.

When you're using a steering wheel, try it with the "Raw Steering" setting on. By toggling that setting, the steering is instant instead of being smoothed.

👍 Well done Kosmo! Perhaps do a steering wheel series of adventure mode next? Talking and real time gaming is hard to do, that's why I'm so impressed by those KZbinrs that manages to do a running commentary while gaming. If you're having fun and are engaged, then the content is good!

I play a lot with a steering wheel. It takes a bit to get adjusted to, but once you're comfortable with it, you have way more control and a controller/keyboard will feel weird to drive with.

I bet it's even harder with the steering wheel because you're coming from keyboard, where inputs are kinda all or nothing. If you used controller at least you'd already be used to gradual inputs.

As a nation-wide truck driver, who drives 70,000-80,000lb trucks 24/7, maybe see 1 week of home every 4-5 months... When you referenced "It feels like I am driving a truck" as a negative thing... I think you need some real-life experience. :D Semi's drive so smooth, no need to whip your arm about or spin the wheel 10,000 times. The only time you need harsh wheel turns is when alley-docking (aka 90 degree backing) and that's it. period.

There's a small part of me that kind of wishes his audio was offset to be centered right about where his hands were- I kept feeling weirded out because it wasn't, and I don't know why.

You know, something did feel odd, like it was a voice-over instead of live commentary. Now that you mentioned audio offset, maybe that's it! Additionally, it is almost too clean, no background wheel noises or anything.

Something wonky happened with my recording and I had to manually sync the webcam to the rest of the footage, which is why webcam might seem a teeeeeny bit out of sync at times. Sorry about that!
