This was a mistake which I covered in the Livestream! In the game I thought it was OC1 my bad, and an honest mistake. Thank the Emperor I lost the game so it didn't make a difference but I own the foul up and will make sure to get it right in going forward

I played a lot of sports at competitive levels. If teams left a tourney in the late games because they were losing, they'd never be allowed back. This practice in 40k is pathetic, and those players should be told that they cannot return for the next one.

Uh, no offense dude, but there is literally no sport in existence where you're expected to actually play for 12 hours in a single day. Also, beer league softball doesn't count as "competitive level." Maybe get off your high horse.

What sports? Ive competed international taekwondo and national boxing and have seen teams at country level forfeit and be let in again next year with no issues

I feel like you are more likely to get suboptimal lists in America vs Europe because the models are more expensive and seem to be in lesser supply. Completing my sisters without an army box feels so difficult, and I know I'm not in the worse off faction by a long shot.

One question concerning the second game against Custodes -> How can you score Capture Enemy Outpost or Primary Points with the Cyclops Demlition Vehicle that has no OC? Do i miss something?

So just a question adepticon didn't have an issue with you using cadians as catachans as I have done same but a few words where mentioned with in my local group as I didn't take special weapons as I didn't have any and a guy said why don't you just proxy it you proxied cadians as kreig lol there was no mallace in it but just made me think if I could get away with it

I prefer fixed terrain because to me, placing terrain isn't part of the game and player placed can greatly sway a game, effectively undermining the playing skill of the players. Also it allows for faster games, knowing where the terrain goes rather than having the back and forth of player placed terrain.

​@Swarzyc "counts as" is fine as far as I am aware, golden rule is "can your opponent understand what this is at a glance from 2 feet away". I have only a vague idea of the different Inquisitors, but at a glance I can tell its his Inquisitor and not a custodes so it's all good :)

I totally understand making terrain thick to make the game more interesting, and to give armies a chance to survive pure shooting armies. But if WTC terrain is so thick that you can't move a Baneblade out of deployment, I think they are taking things a bit too far.

I’m confused. When units disembark from a destroyed transport, are they not battle shocked? How are you still holding objectives?

They’re only battleshocked until the beginning of their own next command phase. So by the time they score an objective they’re good unless they’re under 50% and fail their test. I haven’t gotten far in the video yet but if their OC is keeping the opponent from claiming an objective on the opponents turn then that’s a misplay.

If you’re talking about the Area Denial the orks failed to score, the mission doesn’t deal with OC, it’s just “do you have a unit within 6 of the center? Does your opponent?”

Nah, its kinda a unwritten rule that hunter killers are basically tokens at this point because so many tanks from so many armies can take them, yet no one has modelled them on their tanks because they are one shot and have been rubbish forever. They have only just become relevant in 10th with free wargear but in 11th they might go back to being rubbish and no one wants to start having to rip them off their models 😅

Hit rolls cant be modified more than +1/-1 from the base stat

If you're talking about Game 4, this is a really common misconception with guard. Take Aim gives +1 BS, not a +1 modifier to hit, so you can effectively be +2 to hit because you're just +1 on top of an improved BS. Other than that, max total modifier can be +1, so e.g. heavy plus scout sentinel minus indirect can net +1 to hit. In this example, he has heavy and is firing directly so is just at +1, but is at +1 to BS 3+ because of Take Aim.
