Whatever. This game has so MUCH re-playability, and let's not even get into modding, whole another level.

@@FcoEnriquePerez Netrunner isn't quite as OP anymore, and now Kerenzikov doesn't work with melee or throwing weapons so the only option for slow mo using them is Sandevistan which replaces your cyberdeck. This might be a bug so it could get fixed, but for now you have to sacrifice the cool OP slow mo melee option for the less OP hacking option, or the other way around.

well they are finally realizing that because the release was horribly bad. when the game first came out, you couldnt do anything without bugs throwing you into the sky or flipping your vehicle under the world or deleting your weapon while on an escort mission. that experience ruined the game for a lot of people, and the demands for refunds were massive. just watch Act Mans video from 2 years back about the game, youll see.

it also depends on how you played it. i played it on a regular ps4 at launch and it was a pile of garbage. i think if u had a nice PC at the time of launch it would have been a lot more playable. i went back and beat early this year and had fun...the npc and enemy AI is still a joke. and incredibly shallow as an rpg. but its a very cool world. i think the game is a solid 7.5/10

It’s a great game, but has one big flaw. You can’t play over 170 hours per play through because the save file size exceeds 8Mb. Once that happens, all your save files over 8Mb are corrupted and you can’t load the game anymore. All beginners should start out on the expansion and get the Erebus SMG asap.

Im genuinely still do this day, confused why this game in particular got so much hate for the bugs. I mean, you could make an argument that Skyrim was just as buggy if not worse on launch. Was it because people became accustomed to their games being beyond-polished? I doubt that because not too long before Cyberpunk, we had games that still gained a cult following like Fallout 4 or 76(although nobody likes to talk about that one) despite having their own issues. My only guess was how "perfect" The Witcher 3 was, but people seem to have also forgotten that game had its own fair share of game-breaking bugs such as Roach randomly breaking the laws of physics, npcs stuck in the ground, and your save files getting corrupted.

I'm so glad people are finally giving this game the credit it deserves and seeing it for what it truly is now. I got it right when it launched and from the moment I installed it I completely devoured it. It took me so long to get through the beginning because I was spending my time exploring every part of Night City that I could. Just driving around and messing with the car's radio was a blast. The game touched me and blew me away at so many amazing moments. The story is fantastic, the visuals are gorgeous, the city itself is gritty and pretty in all the right ways. The characters are amazing, the soundtrack is great, the combat feels good and even the driving feels right and is really fun. I never really followed much of the hype leading up to it so I didn't have any disappointments based on expectations or promises. For me, the experience was pretty much every bit of what I was envisioning it would be and more. I understand there were legitimate beefs with the game but I think most of the gaming community was so unfair to the game and it didn't deserve anywhere near the level of hate it got and I had always hoped that history would be kinder to it. In my opinion it is and always was a masterpiece.

Got the game after hearing about the update fixing it and yeah it's addictive. Most realistic city I've ever seen in a game which is equal parts amazing and a sad statement about some cities. The game is very good and I'm glad it's getting a renaissance. A lot of people expected an RPG with a lot of branching choices like BG3 and got disappointed and maybe that's CDPR's fault for the marketing but the game is great as it is. It's a combination of GTA and Deus Ex and there's nothing wrong with that.

Played it on release for like 30 hours and was mildly dissappointed. I expected them to do much better. The police system was a joke, driving was just horrible and many other issues. However I tried it a few weeks ago and absolutely have a blast now. The skill and progression system is great now and different builds offer very different gameplay experiences. Driving still could be better haha. but overall great game finally.

Cyberpunks story is phenomenal. One of my favorite games of all time at release, even with the bugs. Wish it had been a bit longer however. So I am very excited to replay it a few years later with the DLC. The Bug's made a bad launch impression, and the stigma stuck for years. Glad to see people can appreciate the game now that it's fixed. Hope CDPR has better luck on UE5.

In Cp2077 i didnt even think about it could be a bad game cause CD Projekt did always in every game (Witcher 1-3) deliver a narrative cinemtatic masterpiece. CP 2077 is such a game like Witcher 3 (Just the DLC Heart of Stone is better than CP2077, mayber Phantom liberty (didnt play yet) could throw it from the throne), really a masterpeice.

The game was always good. The only problems on release were the infrequent bugs on stable machines and the empty/unpolished open world. Story/Gameplay/Customization were always the best. When I played it on release, I had to reload a save ONCE. This game was always an insanely good piece of art and was always in my top 5.

Yeah, only bugs I had on release were the vehicle spawns being fucky, but otherwise on a good system with an ssd the bugs weren’t that bad. Real issues were min req systems and consoles, which is fair to criticize, but game has always been fire. The devs have always done this shit, and I feel like this time they learned their lesson with rushing shit out, because in the past the games were never big enough or overhyped like cyberpunk. Like most of the shit people complain about being missing were never said to be included or are in but to a lesser degree then people expected

Just started it for the first time this week after Phantom Liberty DLC dropped...loving it! Hardest part for me thus far is trying to figure out "how" I want to play and what build/class type I want to focus on! Seems there are a ton of options and paths that ALL look interesting to me lol Will probably need to roll several different toons to try out different things! Glad to see Asmongold giving it a try.

If you like staying far the fight. stealth Netrunner/sniper. you can clear rooms in seconds and they'll never even know what hit em If you like melee: Cowboy ninja, this is the route i went and it's nuts. I ignore Intelligence and use zero hacks Netrunner melee is fun too. the monowire is insane

What's still missing after 1 year since the game's release. - Improved Wanted System - Need to improve how the wanted system scales in difficulty. NCPD shouldn't spawn right behind you and it shouldn't be so easy to get away from 1-2 stars. 3 stars is essentially an automatic death. Add in high speed car chases. Basically take a page out of any GTA game since 2002. - Factions/Gang Affiliation - Killing gang members should have consequences (both positive & negative). Kill the Tyger Claws and you'll struggle to get through Japantown without getting attacked. Meanwhile, gain affinity with another gang for killing Tyger Claw members. - Player Customization - Need to be able to change character appearance throughout the game. Also need body type options at the start (short/tall, fat/muscular/lean). To have different ♥♥♥♥ options, but not body type is insane. - Life Path Purpose - Outside of the prologue and a few unique dialogue lines, there's no difference in life paths. I realize it's too late to have brand new intros for different life paths, but maybe life paths can have certain unique attributes throughout the game. Corpos get more money when selling things. Streetkids get discounts on items. You get the point. - Car Customization - Scatter garages around the city where you can get new paint, wheels, etc. - Flying Cars and Boats - Pretty self explanatory. Be able to drive boats and flying cars. - Apartment Customization - Be able to decorate your apartments with items that you can buy in local stores. - Mini Games - Street races, casinos, card/board games, underground fighting, video games (so many arcade cabinets throughout the city yet you can't play any of them), etc. - More detailed club interactions - Be able to dance, pickup ladies/dudes, get drunk (I know you do this in a mission, but not sure if you can do it outside of missions). - Transmog gear - So tired of choosing between design and stats. No reason why we can't keep the stats of one piece of gear and have the look of another. Being able to hide hats would be nice as well since I can't seem to like any, but would like the armor bonus they provide. - Lock weapons/gear - Avoid accidentally dismantling weapons/gear/mods that you want to keep by locking them. - Profile system for saves - Be able to easily separate different playthroughs. Be able to name save files. - Public Transportation - Be able to ride the subway/monorail. - Smarter Civilian AI - Better reactions when firing at cars, shooting into crowds, etc. The AI are dumber than games that came out 15-20 years ago. - Higher Population Density - Gives us the city that you showed in the trailers. - Street Cred that Matters - Get discounted drinks, access to private rooms at the clubs, unique dialogue from civilians on the street based on your Street Cred. Make it feel like SC is more than just a number in the menu. - Buy apartments/mansions - As you move up in Night City, it makes little sense to continue living in a tiny apartment. Gives us the option to upgrade our digs. - Dates - Be able to call previous romances or an escort service for a date or one night stand. - Improved Water Physics Thanks for another year of broken promises CDPR!

You can buy nicer apartments, there are arcades you can play, there's a full transmog system that's been in place for a long time, crowd density is pretty great now, etc. Even the things that are missing.... That doesn't make what's there bad. You can let go of some of that and enjoy the characters and story while still being disappointed about your expectations. Those things have nothing to do with the story though lol.

The Biochip brings you back to life and starts the whole “Johnny” process okay?….so what if Jackie hadn’t taken the chip out right before he died. Literally was like 3 seconds. @@Canma890 People go through things very differently. Just because someone's experience differs from yours doesn't mean it's laughable. I'm into virtual photography so I take a lot of pictures from the game. I also try out so many outfit mods. There was a day when I spent half the day just arranging different outfits. I also spend most missions on stealth, and I almost don't drive in between missions because I want to enjoy the views in Night City. I also read all the shards, convos, etc.

People need to understand this is a story driven game, and the story is very good minus pacing issues (pre 2.0). Also, technical/performance problems aside, the game is a blast and a joyride, because everything looks amazing, fun and climatic, so it really helps the player be immersed in Night City atmosphere. Just driving around NC listening to great soundtracks on the radio is in itself a lot of fun, I never used fast travel in this game aside from a couple times. What I'm trying to say is that this game is better than the majority of AAA titles out there and while I agree it deserved some hate for the broken launch, I think this game has still a lot of exaggerated hate from people that never even tried it and just got on the bandwagon. And it's funny to me that you can easily get immersed role-playing as V than you can in a soulless shit game like starfield where they give you a custom character. Because the truth is, reason Bethestha gives you custom voiceless character is so they don't need to actually bother creating a character and making a half decent story or quests.

A friend and I broke into an old dilapidated city school that had been shut down for a decade. After 30 minutes of prowling, we were ambushed by a very angry security guard with a shotgun! We had even untied his security dog that he had chained to the building , thinking it’d be fun if doggy joined our adventure and played with us! Lol, The German Shepherd had as much fun as us and didn’t bark at us once like he was trained to do! Instead or bribing him, I just went for sympathy points, fake crying and claiming we were straight A students who had never been in any trouble (halfway true)…so he went from being on the verge to calling the cops and our parents, to apologizing and offering to let us ride the go karts he had on site. Suffice to say, we were never again so careless on our trespassing adventures. We never once stole anything, but we made our way into many more off limits buildings and areas after that. We ended up experts at stealth and were never again busted by any police or rent-a-cops.
