Game is fantastic. Every character has the potential to solo carry a game if you are good enough. They did a great job putting their own design flare on these iconic characters (especially with Hawkeye). Plus they have the advantage of IP so they have a wealth of characters they can add to the game to keep things fresh. And the best part is the monetization isn't forced or emphasized in anyway - plus on top of that the cosmetics they do offer are amazing - the skins are cool and the MVP intros are super badass.

Pretty sure this has been said but I only really get to enjoy games on my day off for maybe 5 hours if I’m lucky. If I try to play on work days I’ll play for 1 or 2 hours max. Games like marvel rivals appeals a lot to me because it’s so simple and just stupid fun. Regarding the mouse acceleration .ini file edit, I have seen claims that the devs have advised against modifying game files on their discord (although I believe that is generally speaking, not specifically to this case). However, editing the .ini file is by no means cheating. The .ini file handles all of the configuration settings, so things like resolution, graphics settings, etc.. I don't even use macros for competitive games, but I personally am taking the risk of disabling mouse accel in the .ini. If you are thinking that someone could change these config settings to gain something like wall hacks, that's not how that works. You can't get wallhacks by changing the values in your .ini settings, you can only change settings and potentially cause errors if you do something silly. Edit: I see it has been patched and they are working to add the feature as a standard setting

Everyone in your team needs to play good and you need tanks and healers and on top of that, sometimes you need hero match ups for extra skills. It's almost like a luck thing. That why everyone needs to play their role , at least, a minimum. Unfortunately some people don't focus on doing good at their role. Battlefield games focused on that too. Teamplay games work only when you have a team of friends. I think people who play this solo eventually will give up on it.

Anyone else get the worst teammates, that just blame the tank and healer when there’s 4-5 dps? I always play healer and tank, and every match it’s all dps blaming us for the loss instead of actually picking a character that helps the match. Normally having single digit kills, double digit deaths, meanwhile the healers have double the healing of the opposite team and the tanks have substantially more damage dealt and block damage received than anyone on the other team. Very annoying

Most people have no idea how to play in the healer dps tank set up any more. Because most of the thinking has been done for them. Even 14 years back in DCS2 they started adding weapons that were casting spells so you didn't have to think about that so much any more. One of the reasons it started to fail. Money money money.

It ultimately comes down to DPS getting bloodthirsty and running ahead the objective thinking they can kill the whole team. This forces the whole team to try and move up in support, then being out of position, the whole team gets picked off. You can tell the children who never played a game like this before. They think it's called of duty where you can fight a whole team by yourself. no one wants to play as a team.

Does it really matter? The other team has more bad players, so you should climb no matter how bad your team is. Once you get high enough rank, your team improves too. Blaming others will stay though. Few people actually take credit for mistakes, or admit playing bad.

this game feels great to play compared to overwatch because theres no shield spams or insane healing that doesnt allow you to kill anything, every hero is very balanced even if jeff is kinda insane you can actually kill him easily, ive never raged here because the game actually does feel balanced i never feel like it gets annoying because of mechanics, when you fk up is your own fault, oh yeah theres also no spawn camping every single game like ow, thats something i hated about the game, games snowball so hard when the enemy goes full meta comps in randoms that you are usually stucked getting camped unable to even fight back and people starts leaving, never had a game that was even close to be this way in marvel, also heroes are free from the beginning too no need to be unlocking them like they did in ow2, i hated that when i came back to try it again on a new account, btw you dont have brainrot, since you are starting you are trying to run before you walk with complex strats or gameplay but without knowing the full kits or enemy heroes, once you get used to them youll streamline all that information and pretty much use it just by peeking at the enemy comp, you play really well for your second day, you hade some insane games yesterday without even using the full character kits, this pretty much proves this game can be enjoyed if you play and aim well without the need of min maxing the character kit to fully to do anything.

It's because of SBMM, not because you're overthinking shots now. Because you've been doing well you're now playing against better opponents and they move better. Hawkeye is extremely hard to aim with if people have even half a brain. It gets easier past Gold, because people start to ego challenge your angles, but it gets significantly harder later on.

I don't play so much but i already at Rank Silver2 just use Rocket Raccoon all the time's never pick other characters. He easy die (one or two hit boom) but I still use him as a push player and kill the annoying enemies while support teams.

Try the other supports you might have more fun because rocket is genuinely the weakest support. No kill potential and the weakest ult of all supports. And if you're bad at the game, you won't utilize his greatest strength which is movement on walls for survivability.

Rocket is a lot of fun, he's my 2nd main (Mantis is my first). Being able to heal your team from almost anywhere is very useful.

Well...the player is kind of forced to play ranked, because in quickplay the game selects bots instead of humans in both teams. But if you value stress-free fun, maybe quickplay is for you.

I also don't mind chilling out with text-based RPGs on a PC. What I want to say is that competition can be lifelong entertainment. And for most people it is, to a greater or lesser extent.

@ it’s not tired IMO because it can be within a few minutes. I notice this when playing piano. When I get on and just play what I want I’m very good. But when I was in lessons as a kid, even 45 minute classes, even basic information makes my brain shut down. My audio and information processing is really bad and with the autism I cannot juggle a lot of things unless I’m hyperfocussed. I now notice this in games, I can’t play with people because the info they give me is hard to understand while I’m trying to my thing. Autism for me is like being a task manager and managing CPU and RAM

What i think you are trying to explain in the beginning is that your fast cognitive processing ability, adapts strategically to all the baddies around you faster than you adapt your motor skills to the game mechanics which causes you to get stuck. Its just OW 2016. Reminder that OW launched strong and over about 3 years, patched itself down a path it never got away from. Hero creep, ability creep, balancing around casuals instead of pros by homogenizing hero kits, all these things came AFTER launch. I disagree a 1000%. Quickplay is for children and people who don't care about the game's objectives in any way shape, or form. You're there to look at the pretty Heroes and have fun. If you're even remotely interested in winning you'll quickly realize Quickplay is just as sweaty as Ranked, because of SBMM, except 99% of the time everyone (on your team) plays whatever they feel like, so there's no structure whatsoever. In fact my QP got so sweaty so fast I ran to Ranked to face worse players (cause I hadn't played Ranked yet at that time).
