Yes I have played over 3000 hours of Elder Scrolls Online is my favourite game to play but I play it on Steam PC PC is the best place to play because you can do mods

I play this game all the time. Here's how you break down approaching ESO in any year. There is a main story AND each zone is it's own contained story. You can easily play this game as a SP RPG. It's only overwhelming if you think you're hitting end game in 5 minutes. ESO is the best Elder scrolls experience, hands down. I know some of this was touched on in the video but as a player who plays this game regularly, I'm just confirming all this.

Colt I played ESO last year and I had an absolute blast with the game. I was blown away by how much content there was just walking around into so many quests exploring and the narrative/story was great and really interesting to learn more elder scrolls lore. I ended up getting to level ~45 playing as a Redguard Dragonknight which I thought was really cool in combat using both melee and magic!

A very important thing about this game is that you can pretty much solo it if you want to. Like serious endgame stuff can be solo played. That's huge for a mmo this size.

What I love about ESO, especially for new players, is that you can start and quest in any expansion any level. It makes the large game easier to play

Absolutely. Spent 120 hours in the base game and finished everything for a single factions region... Then tamriel unlimited opened up the two other factions regions.... Plus all the expansions. Easily 400+ hours of single player content.

im from Australia and we just had an event called PAX in Melbourne, eso music and a tavern for the 10th anniversary was going on and i got to meet Rich the game director. he was such an awesome guy really down to earth and took the time after the panel to talk to a few of us and take some photos as well. i just coulnt stop expressing how much i really enjoy this game to him and how i love the ambient sounds, its like a holiday getaway i explained to him and he had such a big smile on his face :D fyi i honestly never played elder scrolls as a kid in the 90's i didnt know about it, until 2018 i went to my local game shop and was looking for the next MMO i could play. Found a disc of ESO and thought why not...... I have never put that game down since hahaha loving the lore and powers :P

just got back into it, and was very surprised at how good the visuals hold up. I was just slow walking around the highlands of the Rift and just in awe at watching the dappled sunlight falling on my character and seeing that light and those shadows change so subtly, all the time trying to avoid aggroing the landscape critters because the ambient ost is so good

Love the video, definitely reminded me why I started my ESO journey 7 years ago... I'm actually playing it while I'm listening to this. Only thing I wanted to point out though, is that you misspoke about scribing being a class, it's actually a "skill customization" system that all classes (that purchase Gold Road) will have access too. This is another Bethesda franchise I haven't gotten into. To be honest, I only now recently started playing Bethesda games. I guess Starfield might be my first Bethesda game. I need to finish that. I'm thinking about starting to play Fallout, and yeah, I might dip my toes into this franchise as well.

This game only looks huge and vast because...it is huge! It's not difficult to start though. Make a character and start the tutorial. The tutorial is absolutely basic and almost useless but it's a start. Play and start getting a feel for the combat. Go to KZbin for videos like this exact one you are watching and learn as fast or slow as you want to

Not worth starting in 2024 the peak has been and gone for this game..ex 10 year player here this game is holding onto its last thread thats the truth. For this game to last much longer they need to do some serious work on the servers which they will NEVER do is what will cause this game to die.
